THANK YOU FOR IGNITING POSSIBLE At the Georgia Center for Nonprofits, our mission is to build thriving communities by helping nonprofits succeed. Every day, we invest in the people and organizations that embody this commitment transforming Georgia s communities together through a shared vision of our state s future.

GCN s programs and projects originate in our community of partners in the needs of nonprofit leaders on the ground, and the resources of companies and foundations with the vision to meet those needs: developing talent, sharpening strategy, equipping leaders, and building powerful networks of high-performing nonprofits. We re honored that our partners both nonprofit and philanthropic entrust us to advance their efforts, and empower us to develop the most innovative and impactful initiatives in the Southeast. Together, we Ignite Possible.

IN 2015: We continued building a supportive, statewide sector network, engaging more than 1,000 organizations and 5,000 individuals through GCN Membership, our publications and online resource archive, and dozens of learning and support opportunities. We made developing talent easier than ever through new and tested Nonprofit University programs; more than 1,000 attended courses, including 487 earning certificates, 217 awarded scholarships, and hundreds attending the 40 custom courses we delivered directly to organization teams.

GCN s Nonprofit Consulting Group guided 187 organizations through the process of strengthening strategy, leadership, and resource development.

We continued developing the next generation of sector leaders through initiatives like our annual High Potential Diverse Leaders program, now in its eighth year, with a growing network of 239 alumni. We engaged 97 organizations and 372 nonprofit leaders in Momentum GCN s transformative multi-year process for building strategy, leadership, and aligned networks of community-based cohorts around the state.

We maintained our commitment to sharing knowledge with the community, supporting more than 93,000 sector practitioners with open access to online resources through gcn.org and multiple digital communications channels. We executed our most successful Georgia Gives Day yet, our fourth year of growing a giving movement for our state to date, raising more than $9 million, through 54,000 donations, in support of 2,400 participating nonprofits.

We are grateful to all our partners: You make our mission to build thriving Georgia communities possible. Want to get more involved, share an idea, or let us know how we re doing?
