Young workers : why Accor is on the frontline? One out of five of all our employees is 24 or below. This percentage is even higher in emerging regions such as Asia, Africa-Middle East or Latin America. The «risks»: Use our network size and market exposure to impact our local communities and drag other players to reach shared objectives The «opportunities»: Use our know-how to develop one s employment market value / self-esteem so as to reinforce one s capacity to grow by him-/herself. 2 The emergency procedure

Disseminating our best practices ww 2010 : Soccer World Cup in South Africa. Accor is the industry leader to prevent children sexual exploitation. Our Sustainable Procurement Charter (first issued in 2002, renewed in 2012) The search for performance, especially economic, must be achieved in a way that respects both people and the environment Accor s suppliers must comply with the: 1. National or international regulations relating to its activities; 1 2 2. United Nations Universal Declaration of Human Rights; 3. Core Conventions of the International Labour Organization 4. United Nations Global Compact (that we have joined in 2003) a) Child Labour In any case, our supplier and its subcontractors shall never hire children under the age of 14 years. b) Fight against the Sexual Exploitation of Children The supplier commits to the utmost vigilance so that in his/her business minors are protected from acts of pedophilia, and that his/her premises may not be used for the purposes of producing, distributing or storing pornographic materials involving minors. Since 2010, 150+ of our suppliers have been audited on their sustainable development policies to implement action plans if/when required. 6

Giving skills in Thailand 38 Accor hotels worldwide provide industry skills trainings to young persons at risk Example: In Thailand, over the past 10 years, 200+ teenagers and young adults (aged 17-20), have received a five-month skills training under the UNICEF Youth Career Development Program. Approx. 50% of them have been recruited full time after completing the program. 8
Giving skills in New Zealand 1 The Building Futures program conducted in cooperation with the Government Ministry of Social Development: unemployed or under-employed young people (16-24) follow one of this program then receive a National Certificate in Hospitality. 2 9 The Student Hospitality Experience / Gateway : 2 programs aiming at secondary or high school students to give them a 10-day experience of entry level roles.
Giving skills in Brazil Since 2002, Accor Brazil cooperates with UNIBES (Uniao Brasileiro Israelita do Bem Estar Social) in Sao Paulo city. Hotel operations courses and post recruiting follow-ups are provided by Accor volunteers to young students (16-29 yrs) who have finished high school, with a family income below 3 minimum wages. 450 students have followed this 7-month program. 10
Giving skills in Morocco In partnership with Morocco governement «vocational training department» and Germany GTZ (sustainable development agency), Accor has set up 3 apprenticeship training centers in Agadir, Marrakech and Essaouira. 231 students have already followed one of the four different programs. 11
Giving skills in France / in Middle East & in Africa In France, each year, 4,000 students are welcomed during their internships to acquire a field exposure. Since 2002 «EMEA Profession Annual Challenges»: Recognize and reward our young workers highest professional skills. Last year, 8 young professional (aged 18-26) won 1st price out of the 65 participants nominated in 21 countries. 12
Giving skills internationally 160 management trainee job offers each semester. Many of these offers are accepted by hotel school international graduates looking for an opportunity and a career perspective in their respective home countries in East Asia, South-East Asia or South Asia. 13
