Welcome to the Booster Club Handbook For more information on anything in this handbook, please contact: Shannon L. Juenger: Vice-President, shannon.juenger@extremepride.org Kristy Butcher: Fundraising Director, fundraising@extremepride.org This handbook is designed to introduce the Booster Club structure to each Extreme family and to also provide them information regarding the optional, individual fundraising opportunities that are available throughout the year. The Booster Club will serve as a monthly opportunity for volunteers from each team to meet and collaborate with club leaders and other team volunteers. During Booster Club meetings, information regarding the club, the optional fundraisers, and other topics will be shared. Booster Club members will serve as a communication source for their individual teams. Each team will be required to have 3 volunteers to support our mission, fundraisers, and team travel arrangements. These volunteers will attend monthly Booster Club meetings led by the Vice-President and Fundraising Director. We are excited to partner with our teams to bring these awesome opportunities to our Extreme families. Please consider volunteering for one of these Booster Club roles: 1. Booster Leader attend meetings, work with Fundraising Director, provide info to families about individual optional fundraisers, help coordinate those fundraisers 2. Mission Leader attend meetings, share the mission of the club to your team, share the recent news and stories from the club, bring ideas/suggestions from your team to meetings 3. Travel Leader attend meetings, coordinate travel for your team should your team play in tournaments requiring travel, collaborate with other travel leaders and organization leaders regarding team travel Booster Club Meeting Schedule Booster Club Meetings will be held the first Thursday of every month, excluding January from 7:00-8:00pm in the Annex team room. St. Louis Cardinals Official Calendar fundraiser Dear Fundraising Coordinator: It s not too early to begin preparations for your fundraising initiatives this fall by registering now for one of the most successful pre-holiday programs for area school, youth groups, and sports teams: The Official St. Louis Cardinals Calendar drive. The off-the-charts success of last fall s calendar program, with a record number of participating groups selling a record number of calendars, reinforced the proven popularity of this fund-raising partnership. And we expect this year s program to be an even greater success for participants! The program capitalized on two key components: 1) the popularity of calendars as holiday gift items; and 2) our region s passion for Cardinals baseball. Our oversized wall calendar is a huge hit with fans, featuring beautiful design, high-end photography and the upcoming season s complete Cardinals schedule. It s educational too, featuring a captivating look at a popular Cardinals topic or tradition. $6.00 per each calendar sold to go towards your player fee account. Sample calendar below:
