Our Mission: Community Healthcare Network (CHN) is a not-for-profit organization that provides access to quality, culturally competent and comprehensive community-based primary care, mental health care and social services for diverse populations in underserved communities throughout New York City. Increase quality of care via referrals of ALL patients with a concentration on: *ID (HIV) Leading to an increase in HIV QUAL *Prenatal *Diabetes
*Providing full spectrum, comprehensive care to all patients, especially special needs patients (ID, Prenatal, Diabetes). *Meet regulatory and accreditation requirements (HIV QUAL Compliance). *Increase productivity/patient volume.
Create a clinical pop-up global alert which will notify providers/nurses to refer patients to dental services.

The benefits of using this feature is being able to attach images such as x-rays, which will eliminate having to send radiographs in the mail and will expedite patient treatment.
*Increases productivity due to speed of taking and developing digital x-rays. *Facilitates and improves diagnosis and treatment planning due to higher image quality and resolution along with caries detection software. *Reduces exposure to radiation. *Shortens patient waiting time and appointments. *Eliminates disposal of lead foil x-ray encasing and possible exposure to harmful developing chemicals which meet Joint Commission compliance. *Eliminates postage cost (digital x-rays can be emailed in reference to pre-authorizations and referrals). *Eliminates cost of purchasing old school x-rays.
Progression from harmful chemicals and lead foil used in developing film to sensor based digital radiography with a fraction of the exposure.
The quality of patient care is evolving everyday with the advancement of digital radiography, which not only facilitates but expands the ability to diagnosis and treat each patient.

This can be accomplished by either: 1. Selecting the procedure(s) from the main procedure list. 2. Type the procedure code in the Procedure Code box directly under Enter Treatment 3. Click on one the Quick buttons or click on ALL & select from the list.
Using the Procedure List to select: Click on the Tooth in the Graphical Tooth Chart and then click Procedure List button, it will open this window:
Using the Procedure Code box: If the User knows the ADA Procedure code they can In the Procedure Code box, type the ADA Procedure Code Click the OK Button. If more information is needed the procedure info screen will pop up indicating that a surface or area needs to be selected (it will be highlighted in yellow).

* These are pre-made templates so the User does not have to keep typing in the same information each time. * Could be short notes or big complex notes with pop ups for quick selection. * Useful for comprehensive exams or emergency exams. * Notes are practice specific, however, there will be some variation for the different specialties: Pediatrics, General and Perio. * Can be accomplished by clicking on the Auto Note button & double click on the appropriate note.
