WHAT IS THE SOCIAL VENTURES INCUBATOR PROGRAM? The program will work with up to 8 social ventures (individuals or teams of 2-3) to support the active development of their ventures through workshops, mentoring, peer-learning and digital platforms. 2
The Social Ventures Incubator Program is a learning and development opportunity for early-stage social ventures, to develop their business models and impact to sustainably improve community life. 3
WHAT WILL I LEARN? WHEN? This unique, world class program will give you the knowledge and practical skills to develop, test and launch your social venture. Practical sessions with experienced social entrpreneurs and business professionals will cover areas such as social impact, pitching, business planning, legal obligations and communications. The program will run for 90 days and is scheduled to start in June and be completed in Sept 2016. The program will consist of 4 full day workshops and 4 half day workshops. There will be 1 full day workshop and 1 half day workshop each month, with additional work to be completed outside of the program. See page 9 for more detailed project timelines. 4

COMMITMENT Shortlisted candidates will need to attend to a full day workshop, that will form the basis for final selection. Successful participants will then need to commit to all workshops and out of hours work will be required. The delivery method for the workshops will include face to face learning, online resources and will be delivered with the participation, support and expertise of highly experienced facilitators. Mentoring and support from industry experts will also be offered to the successful participants. 10

WHO IS IT FOR? Start-up or early stage social ventures (individuals or a team of up to 3 individuals) Ventures that propose social and economic impact, specifically in the City of Adelaide Participants prepared to commit to the 90 day program, all workshops and after hours work Participants with a growth mindset and the drive to turn an idea into reality 14
MENTOR PROFILES Business Models Inc will facilitate the program. They are an international strategy & design company that helps entrepreneurs and start-ups innovate their business models and design strategies for the future through co-creation and visualization. Suhit Anantula is the lead facilitator and has coached social entrepreneurs through the Vic Health Challenge, OFTA Challenge, China Australia Millennial Project and Young Social Pioneers Program. HOW DO I APPLY? Applications are open for start-ups that fit the eligibility criteria and are able to fully commit to the full day workshop for shortlisted candidates and can commit to the 90 day program. A maximum of 20 participants will be selected. The application form is available online and applications must be submitted by 5:00pm 17 April 2016 or in person or mail to 25 Pirie St, Adelaide. SUPPORTERS The Wyatt Trust, Microsoft Australia, Social Capital Initiative, Impact Investing Australia, NESTA, Philanthropy Australia, StartSomeGood and Funding Network, will support the program and participants. 15
