Texas Music Educators Association & Texas Association of Music Schools College Night2013 About College Night TMEA, in conjunction with the Texas Association of Music Schools, sponsors the annual College Night during the TMEA Clinic/Convention in San Antonio. Over 3,000 All-State students, members of Texas Future Music Educators chapters, and Two-Year College All-State members are informed of this event and invited to attend. College Night also appears as a scheduled event in the convention program to attract additional attendees. Texas Colleges must also become Institutional members of TAMS (form to come from TAMS). Out-of-State Colleges must also become Sustaining members of TAMS (form enclosed). Only one booth per college will be allowed. Booth cost is $100 and should accompany the enclosed contract. Send to: Texas Music Educators Association P. O. Box 140465 Austin, TX 78714 Booths will be assigned by the Exhibits Manager in the order contracts are received, beginning at the front of the exhibit hall. Restrictions in Operation Only official college literature is to be distributed within the space assigned to the exhibitor. Only one copy of any recording, DVD, CD, or CD- ROM may be displayed on the table and may not be distributed. No posters, logo signs, displays, pins, stickers, T-shirts, or other novelty items may be distributed or given to visitors. Cards requesting application, audio and/or visual materials may be completed and left at booth. Lead retrieval service will be available (see order form in this packet). Auditioning or verbal offer of scholarships or grants for students is prohibited. Schools not assigned booth space in the exhibit area are not permitted in the exhibit area. Booths are not to be decorated in any way. Audio/video equipment is prohibited. No more than four persons should represent an exhibiting institution in the booth at the same time. Exhibit personnel shall remain within their booth perimeter while distributing literature or soliciting students Regulations and Contract The TMEA Exhibits Manager reserves the right to restrict exhibits that, because of undue noise, method of operation, materials, or any other reason, become objectionable. In the event of such restriction or eviction, the Texas Music Educators Association is not liable for any refunds, rentals, or other exhibitor expenses. These regulations become a part of the agreement between the exhibitor and the Texas Music Educators Association. Any situations not covered are subject to the decision of the TMEA officials.
