Introduction As higher education institutions are investing in development programmes, the question arises of where to find good staff; The Spring Institute in Educational Fundraising (SIEF) was created to answer this critical need. 2 30 March 31 March 2017 SIEF is a residential course for early career fundraising professionals and those new to the education sector. For five days participants work closely with a faculty of respected fundraising professionals in an intensive workshop environment. case.org PAGE 2
Participants come from a wide range of backgrounds: in addition to established development offices, there are some from new universities, some from business schools, some from secondary and international schools, some from continental and other international institutions, as well as a growing group from the arts and culture sector. For commercial firms operating in higher education with a focus on educational fundraising, SIEF provides a unique opportunity to target advancement professionals in their early careers. CASE Europe welcomes partner organisations to support SIEF through one of the following opportunities: Scholarship Sponsorship (up to three sponsors) NO LONGER AVAILABLE 1,750 + VAT for a scholarship with the purpose of both defraying the cost of attendance to the Spring Institute as well as encouraging increased participation in the event. From this sponsorship, 1,250 will go to the scholarship for the recipient. CASE Europe requires the recipient to pay the remaining 500 cost to attend to demonstrate their institution s commitment to fundraising and the professional development Sponsorship process. The remainder ofopportunities the sponsorship helps to defray other costs of the Institute. Cocktails Reception and Dinner Sponsorship (exclusive) 1,850 + VAT to sponsor the cocktails reception and dinner on Tuesday 25 April. Dinner Sponsorship (exclusive) 1,750 + VAT to support the dinner for SIEF participants and faculty on Thursday 27 April, which is the final evening of the Institute (it ends the following afternoon). The entire sponsorship amount will help offset the costs of the dinner. Refreshment Breaks with Branded Cakes Sponsorship (exclusive) 1,750 + VAT to sponsor the refreshment breaks throughout SIEF (there are eight breaks, not including breakfasts, lunches, and dinners). Benefits of Sponsorship Scholarship sponsors are recognised by placing their logo on the event web site, scholarship application and in course materials provided at the conference. Sponsors will also be acknowledged from the podium at the closing session of the Spring Institute and one representative is invited to attend the closing luncheon with students and faculty on Friday 28 April. Selection will be made by CASE Europe and Mark Curtis (Faculty Chair) Cocktails and Dinners sponsorship are exclusive. Sponsors are recognised by placing their logosponsorship the event web site and in course Opportunities materials provided at the conference. Sponsors are recognised by placing their logo on the event web site, in course materials provided at the conference, including signs at the refreshment breaks and branded cakes at the 3pm breaks on days one, two, and three of the Institute. Refreshment break sponsors will also be acknowledged from the podium at the dinner on Thursday 27 April. Sponsors are encouraged to promote their sponsorship of SIEF as well as promote the programme itself in their own corporate materials (with approval of CASE Europe).
