Prior to the break, Chris Carrier from Fire Marque outlined his cost recovery program. 10:00 a.m. 10:15 a.m. - Break 10:15 a.m. 10:45 a.m. MMAH Update Diane Ploss provided updates from the Ministry regarding Bill 68 and changes regarding the 2018 election. 10:45 a.m. 11:00 a.m. MPAC Update Rebecca Webb provided information on what they have done since the last election and gave timelines for the 2018 election. 11:00 a.m. 11:45 a.m. Doculinks Stan Papadimitriou outlined the services provided by Doculinks in regards to municipal elections. 11:45 a.m. 12:00 p.m. Zone Business Moved by: Crystal Best-Sararas Seconded by: Elana Arthurs That the minutes from the Spring Zone Meeting of October 20, 2016 be approved as presented. 2 Robin listed the new members in Zone 5: Cassandra Bonfice, Neil Carbone, Suzy Mumford, Alexandar Rainer, Chassidy Robertson and Aaron Sloan. She announced three recent retirements: Eleanore Crosby, Bill Lebault and Connie Matrinelle, and David Stewart has obtained his CMO designation. OPENING REMARKS/GREETINGS Robin van de Moosdyk, Chair, Zone 5 called the meeting to order at 8:30 a.m. She welcomed all of the zone sponsors in attendance and thanked everyone on the Zone 4 and 5 executives for their contributions to today s zone meeting. R. Moosdyk, Zone 5 Chair, introduced Mayor Robert Quaiff. Mayor Quaiff made opening remarks R. Moosdyk, Zone 5 Chair, introduced AMCTO representatives Andy Koopman and Yvonne Roberts, AMCTO representatives, provided an overview of AMCTO draft strategic plan; Municipal Reporting Burden; Update on Voters List Advocacy; and AMCTO Accreditation Programs. R. Moosdyk, Zone 5 Chair, thanked AMCTO representatives and introduced Petr Sisov. SPEAKER: Petr Sisov Petr Sisov, Municipal Advisor in place of Kent Fitzhugh, Ministry of Municipal Affairs, provided a PowerPoint presentation regarding Updates and possible Financial Impacts to municipalities. information provided and P. Evan Read, Zone 4 Treasurer, presented the 2017 Zone 4 financial statements.
