Hospital Kuala Lumpur (HKL) has grown considerably since its inception in 1870. It is located on a 150 acres of prime land in the city of Kuala Lumpur.

Misi Jabatan Dietetik & Sajian berusaha untuk Perkhidmatan Dietetik Membantu rawatan perubatan melalui perkhidmatan dietetik klinikal dan promosi kesihatan berdasarkan amalan evidence-based disamping menyumbang kepakaran dalam bidang berkenaan. Menyumbang kepada kajian dan penyelidikan dalam bidang pemakanan dan dietetik. Perkhidmatan Sajian Merancang penyediaan makanan dengan mematuhi keperluan nutrien, tatacara proses katering, prinsip kebersihan dan keselamatan makanan, bersesuaian dengan teknologi semasa serta berkualiti. Melaksanakan sistem pengurusan dengan sempurna berdasarkan polisipolisi, pekeliling-pekeliling dan arahan yang ditetapkan.

3. Lima Ketetapan Berkaitan CI / LP Kedua Pihak IPTA/IPTS mestilah menghantar CI mereka untuk latihan penyesuaian di hospital tempat pelajar menjalani latihan bagi tempoh 3 bulan (fresh graduate) atau tempoh yang sesuai (telah berpengelaman). IPTS perlulah membayar yuran sebanyak RM 1000 sebulan bagi latihan ini.
3. Lima Ketetapan Berkaitan CI / LP Ketiga Pihak CI IPTA/IPTS mestilah menjalani assesement kompetensi bagi mendapatkan pengesahan kompetensi dari PD KKM dan disahkan oleh pihak hospital bagi membolehkan surat pengesahan kompetensi dikeluarkan dan melayakkan mendapat id dan password untuk Sistem HIS hospital tertentu # # Tertakluk kepada persetujuan hospital berkaitan
3. Lima Ketetapan Berkaitan CI / LP Keempat Pihak CI IPTA/IPTS boleh menulis ke dalam BHT pesakit mengikut standard yang ditetapkan dan mendapat penyeliaan daripada LP PD KKM mengikut kaedah yang sesuai berdasarkan senario di hospital masing-masing
3. Lima Ketetapan Berkaitan CI / LP Kelima Pihak IPTA/IPTS masih perlu melantik LP dari kalangan Pegawai Dietetik (jumlah yang lebih sedikit) bagi tujuan melatih CI dengan bayaran honororium yang bersesuaian bagi tujuan latihan di luar waktu pejabat / luar tugas resmi.
4. Logistik Latihan dan CI Terdapat kecenderungan IPTA/IPTS sekarang hanya memilih lokasi tempat latihan yang terdekat dengan IPTA / IPTS bagi memudahkan / meminimumkan kos dan lain-lain perbelanjaan. IMPLIKASI : Jumlah tempat latihan yang dipohon atau telah diluluskan akan DIBATALKAN kerana tidak digunakan dalam tempoh 1 tahun setelah menerima lapuran. Jadi tidaklah berguna setiap tahun IPTA/IPTS memohon menambah kelulusan bilangan penggunaan fasiliti tetapi tiada cadangan untuk menggunakannya. CADANGAN : IPTA/IPTS perlulah menggunakan fasiliti itu secara bergilir-gilir dan terdapat rekod penggunaannya bagi mengelakkan kelulusan ditarik balik. Jika terdapat beberapa isu logistik dll harap diselesaikan sendiri diperingkat IPTA / IPTS.
Cadangan Dicadangkan BSKB dan Ketua Profesion dan wakil 7 universiti menyelaraskan tempat pilihan /logistik fasiliti agar adil dan meliputi hospital negeri, hospital pakar dan klinik kesihatan
