Colorado Nonprofit Social Enterprise Exchange Vision Social enterprise is a thriving, resourced sector in Colorado complementing and enhancing the nonprofit, for-profit and government sectors work to create a healthy, fair and just society.

Colorado Nonprofit Social Enterprise Exchange Mission The Colorado Nonprofit Social Enterprise Exchange provides training, technical assistance, education, mentoring and networking opportunities to develop a fully scaled and resourced ecosystem of social enterprise for nonprofits, venture philanthropists and foundations.

Defining Social Enterprise Social enterprises are businesses whose primary purpose is the common good. They use the methods and disciplines of business and the power of the marketplace to advance their social, environmental and human justice agendas. ~Social Enterprise Alliance

Assets A useful or valuable thing, person or quality. Property owned by a person or company, regarded as having value and available to meet debts, commitments or legacies. What you do What you have What you know

Core (and not so core!) Competencies Having adequacy; possession of required skill, knowledge, qualification or capacity. Sufficient, a sufficient quantity. What are you good at that is part of what you do? What are you good at as a result of what you do? What do you know?
