The complainant advised that a red in color sedan was traveling north on Route 41 with several people hanging out of the sunroof. Officer located the vehicle traveling north bound on Route 41 at Knauz and conducted a traffic stop on the vehicle at our north limits. Officer issued W32013 for improper lane usage and T43316-43317 for failure to wear a seatbelt to 3 rear seat passengers. Suspicious Person 05/28/2017 09:46:43 2017-00004551 E PROSPECT AVE Narrative: Officer responded to the 300 block of Sylvan Ave to meet with a complainant regarding a subject he observed using a metal detector on E Prospect Ave. Officers located the subject in the 400 block of E Prospect Ave. Officers advised the subject of the complaint, and he said he would not dig in the parkway unless he obtained the permission of the resident whose house the parkway was in front of. Officers offered alternate locations for him to check, and the subject stated he would go to them. Alarm Business 05/28/2017 10:36:33 2017-00004553 ARMOUR DR Narrative: Officers responded to the 900 block of Armour Drive, for an activated burglar alarm. Officer observed a Security vehicle leaving the area upon arriving. Officer also located an employee on location outside of the business. It was determined that the alarm most likely timed out before the Security personnel left the building. Officers checked the exterior and observed no irregularities. The alarm was reset and the building secured. Animal Complaint 05/28/2017 13:40:27 2017-00004556 ROCKLAND ROAD Narrative: While on location at the 900 block of Rockland Road, Officer was advised of a dog in a vehicle. Officer observed the dog and vehicle, that had windows down. The air temperature was around 66 degrees. The dog was barking, but appeared fine otherwise. Officer was able to locate the owner who was walking out to the vehicle. Officer let the owner know of the concern of others. No other irregularities were observed and Officer cleared. Alarm Business 05/28/2017 14:59:07 2017-00004557 ALBRECHT DR Narrative: Officers responded to the 0-100 block of Albrecht Dr for a report of an activated burglar alarm. Officers arrived on scene and met with the keyholder who stated that he had activated the alarm in error and that there were no problems. Officers observed no irregularities and cleared. Ambulance Assist 05/28/2017 15:44:25 2017-00004558 INVERNESS CT Narrative: Officer responded to the 0-100 block of Inverness Ct for an ambulance assist. Officer arrived with Knollwood and Lake Bluff Fire Department and Lake Forest Ambulance 421. The ambulance crew transported the patient to Lake Forest Hospital to be evaluated and officer cleared when no further assistance was needed. Accident Property Damage 05/28/2017 17:00:02 2017-00004559 GREEN BAY RD / ROCKLAND RD Narrative: While on patrol officer observed two vehicles stopped in the right turn lane on southbound

Green Bay Road at Rockland Road. Officer met with the drivers who both stated they were in a minor accident and had already came to a resolution. Officer observed the drivers exchange information. Officer confirmed with both parties no further police assistance was needed. Both units and officer cleared. Alarm Business 05/28/2017 21:10:22 2017-00004564 W WASHINGTON AVE Narrative: Officers responded to the Lake Bluff Golf Course for a report of an activated burglar alarm. Officers arrived on scene and noted no irregularities. The alarm company advised that no keyholder was responding and officers cleared. Suspicious Person 05/28/2017 21:44:15 2017-00004565 MAPLE AVE / E NORTH AVE Narrative: Officers responded to Lillian Dells for a report of suspicious subjects walking down to the beach. Officer located two subjects and issued each subject a Cafe Citation for violation of trespassing after the posted Sunset to Sunrise sign. Officer explained the citations to the subjects and both subjects were sent on their way. Officers cleared and resumed patrol Check Well Being 05/28/2017 22:35:53 2017-00004567 Narrative: Officer was dispatched to the northbound lanes of route 41 south of the EJ&E tracks for a subject walking southbound in the northbound lanes. Officer checked the area and could not locate the subject. Ambulance Assist 05/29/2017 00:25:31 2017-00004572 GARFIELD AVE Narrative: Officer responded to the 600 block of Garfield Ave for a male who fell. The Lake Bluff Fire Department, Knollwood Fire Department and Lake Forest Ambulance A421 all responded to the scene. The patient was transported to Lake Forest ER. Officer verified with fire personnel no further Police assistance was needed and Officer cleared. Domestic 05/29/2017 02:21:03 2017-00004577 E BLODGETT AVE Narrative: Officers responded to East Blodgett Avenue for a report of a domestic dispute. Alarm Residential 05/29/2017 06:54:47 2017-00004579 MAWMAN AVE Narrative: Officers responded to the 500 block of Mawman Ave for an activated burglar alarm. Officers met with an employee, who deactivated the alarm prior to officers' arrival. Officers reported no irregularities. Animal Found 05/29/2017 16:06:41 2017-00004592 E SCRANTON AVE Narrative: Officer responded to the PSB for a found dog. Officer was able to locate an owner for the dog who

Upon arrival, Officers met with the cleaning crew. No irregularities were noted and Officers cleared. Assist Fire 05/30/2017 00:19:06 2017-00004597 W PROSPECT AVE Narrative: Officer responded to the 300 block of W Prospect Ave for a smoke alarm that would not stop going off. The Lake Bluff Fire Department responded and determined the alarm was due to a faulty detector. Officer and fire personnel cleared. Burglary to Vehicle 05/30/2017 08:36:19 2017-00004604 SKOKIE HWY Narrative: Officer responded to a car dealership for a reported criminal damage. Upon investigation, Officer determined a burglary to motor vehicle took place. Suspicious Incident 05/30/2017 10:11:40 2017-00004606 HANCOCK AVE Narrative: Officer responded to the 200 block of Hancock Avenue for a delayed report of a suspicious male white subject wearing an orange colored safety vest knocking on the complainant's front door. Officer checked the surrounding area and no one fitting the description was located. Assist Fire 05/30/2017 12:50:00 2017-00004610 W WASHINGTON AVE Narrative: Officer responded to the 300 block of 355 West Washington Avenue for a report of mulch on fire. Officer arrived on location with the Lake Bluff Fire Department. It was determined that the mulch under a concrete step on the south side was smoldering. The FD applied water and required to further assistance. Citizen Assist 05/30/2017 12:54:50 2017-00004611 SKOKIE HWY Narrative: Officer responded to a Dealership with a VIN inspection on a 2014 Mercedes-Benz that will be registered in the state of Florida. The VIN cleared NCIC/LEADS check and officer completed verification paper work. Ordinance Violation 05/30/2017 13:03:03 2017-00004612 ROCKLAND RD Narrative: An Officer observed a subject possibly selling candy. The subject left the area northbound. Officers responded to the area to check for subjects. Two juvenile subjects were located in the Carriage Way shopping center. They reportedly were selling candy for the Boys and Girls Club of Chicago. Officer spoke with the grandmother of one subject and the adult brother of the other responded to the location. The subjects were told of the soliciting regulations in the Village, verbal warning issued. The subjects cleared the area in the presence of the adult. Found Property 05/30/2017 14:18:02 2017-00004614 SHERIDAN RD / W SCRANTON AVE Narrative: Officer took a found property report at the PSB. A public works employee turned in a wallet that had IL identification, DL, 2 debit cards for different persons, multiple school identification cards, a bank card, and a Game Stop card, see founf property sheet for further. Officer checked through local contacts and spoke with LFPD investigations, none of the names

or addresses appear to be linked to thefts. Officer will attempt to follow up with the owners, Fingerprinting 05/30/2017 16:25:18 2017-00004617 E CENTER AVE Narrative: Officer responded to the PSB to conduct fingerprinting for a resident. Malkov #134 Public Health and Safety 05/30/2017 16:34:34 2017-00004620 SHERIDAN RD / E WOODLAND RD Narrative: Officer responded to Sheridan Rd and E.Woodland Ave for the report of a hose across the roadway causing a hazard. Officer was unable to locate a hose in the roadway. Officer checked Sheridan Rd north to Shoreacres and on E.Woodland Ave and was unable to locate a hose. Accident PI 05/30/2017 16:49:22 2017-00004622 S WAUKEGAN RD / NORTH SHORE DR Narrative: Officer responded to the area of Route 43 at North Shore Drive for a report of a two vehicle accident with unknown injuries. Upon arrival both drivers stated they were uninjured and officer relocated the stop to North Shore Drive. The driver of unit 2 then stated she now has back pain and Lake Forest Ambulance 421 responded to the scene. Officer completed a formal traffic crash report and provided copies to both drivers. The patient was transported to Lake Forest ER by ambulance 421 and officer cleared. Alarm Residential 05/30/2017 20:14:49 2017-00004623 MOUNTAIN RD Narrative: Officers responded to the 700 block of Mountain Ave for a burglar alarm. Upon arrival, Officers found the exterior secure with no irregularities. The homeowner arrived on scene and did not request any further assistance. Suspicious Incident 05/30/2017 22:39:35 2017-00004626 SKOKIE HWY Narrative: Officers responded to the area of N/B Route 41 at Knauz Motors for a report of a male riding a bicycle N/B on Route 41. Officers check Route 41 and the Knauz Auto Park and were unable to locate the subject. Alarm Residential 05/31/2017 03:40:27 2017-00004634 W WITCHWOOD LN Narrative: Officers responded to the 200 block of W. Witchwood Lane for an activated burglar alarm. Officers verified that the residence was secured and no other irregularities were reported. Alarm Residential 05/31/2017 10:02:54 2017-00004639 E CENTER AVE Narrative: Officers responded to the 500 block of East Center Avenue for an activated burglar alarm. Officers spoke with painters on location. They set off the alarm in error, but obtained the code from the homeowner. No other irregularities were observed, and Officers cleared. Barking Dog 05/31/2017 12:59:15 2017-00004641 ROCKLAND AVE Narrative: Officer was dispatched to the 400 block of Rockland Avenue for a barking dog complaint. The caller did not wish to leave their name and stated the dog at the residence was barking continually. Officer arrived on scene and waited for 5 minutes and did not hear or see a dog. After the approximate 5 minutes a small black and brown dog was located near the front door and barked when the officer approached. Officer was unable to make contact with anyone inside the residence. Officer observed no violation for excessive barking.

Accident Property Damage 05/31/2017 14:54:04 2017-00004644 ALBRECHT DR Narrative: Officer responded to the 0-100 block of Albrecht Dr for a report of a private property, property damage only accident between 2 semi-trucks. Upon arrival, unit 1 had left after determining no damage was left on his semi. Unit 2, and the safety inspector of the company decided the damage would be under $500.00 and a formal Sr 10-50 report would not be need. Assist Fire 05/31/2017 15:35:48 2017-00004646 E SCRANTON AVE Narrative: Officer responded to the 600 block of East Scranton Avenue for a report of water flowing from under the kitchen sink. Officer located the shut off valves for the sink and turned off the water. The complainant stated she will contact a plumber and the Lake Bluff Fire Department verified there is no hazard at the location. Officer cleared. Ambulance Assist 05/31/2017 15:57:34 2017-00004647 NORTH SHORE DR Narrative: Officer responded to the 900 block of North Shore Dr for a male subject who fell. Lake Bluff EMT Schaefer and Knollwood fire responded, and Lake Forest Ambulance 421 transported the subject to Lake Forest Hospital. No further assistance was needed and Officer cleared. Driving Complaint 05/31/2017 16:12:00 2017-00004648 SHERIDAN RD / E SCRANTON AVE Narrative: Officer responded to the area of Sheridan Road at East Scranton Avenue for a driving complaint of a vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed. Officer checked the area and the vehicle was gone upon arrival. Alarm Residential 05/31/2017 16:26:08 2017-00004649 W SANCTUARY LN Narrative: Officer responded to the 12800 block of Sanctuary Ln for a burglar alarm, activated accidentally. Officer met with the homeowner who stated the alarm was set off by AT&T who is installing a new phone system in her home. No further assistance was needed and Officer cleared. Lock Out 05/31/2017 16:50:04 2017-00004650 ROCKLAND RD Narrative: Officer responded to the 300 block of Rockland Rd for an auto lockout. A waiver release was signed and entry was gained. Accident PI 05/31/2017 17:04:41 2017-00004651 ROCKLAND RD Narrative: Officer responded to the area of Rockland Road west of Green Bay Road for a report of a vehicle versus motorcycle accident with unknown injuries. Upon arrival officer met with both parties who stated there are no injuries. Lake Forest Ambulance 421 and the Lake Bluff Fire Department responded to the scene and the driver of unit 1 signed a medical release. Officer completed a formal traffic crash report and explained the form to both parties. Officer issued a citation to the driver of unit 1 and resumed patrol duties.

Suspicious Vehicle 05/31/2017 17:45:43 2017-00004652 SKOKIE VALLEY RD Narrative: Officers responded to the 100 block of Skokie Highway for a report of a man possibly living out of his vehicle on the property. Officers met with a subject inside of his vehicle who stated he is homeless, and was given permission to spend the evening on the property. Officers verified he was given permission to the subject to stay on the property for the evening. Officers asked the subject if we could provide him with any further assistance or aid, and he stated that he is currently looking for a job and a place to live. No further assistance was needed at this time and Officers cleared. Assist Fire 05/31/2017 20:18:17 2017-00004653 NORTH SHORE DR Narrative: Officer responded to the 900 block of North Shore Dr. for a fire and burglar alarm. Lake Bluff responded along with Knollwood Fire, and determined the alarm was caused due to a faulty air compression unit No further assistance was needed and Officer cleared. Fingerprinting 05/31/2017 21:05:43 2017-00004655 E CENTER AVE Narrative: Officer responded to the Lake Bluff PSB for a fingerprinting request by a resident. Alarm Business 05/31/2017 21:33:52 2017-00004658 ROCKLAND RD Narrative: Officers responded to the 300 block of Rockland Rd for a burglar alarm. Upon arrival, Officers found the maintenance building unsecure. Officers checked the interior finding no irregularities, and re-secured the building. A keyholder stated he may respond, but was uncertain if he would, or what time. No further assistance was needed and Officers cleared. Trespassing 05/31/2017 23:24:48 2017-00004659 MAPLE AVE Narrative: Officers responded to Lillian Dells for report of subjects trespassing after hours on the beach. Officers located 4 adults, all from Libertyville, on the beach in violation of the curfew. No contraband was located. All subjects were issued beach curfew cafe violations (C1133880-3) and sent on their way. Citizen Assist 05/31/2017 23:49:15 2017-00004660 E CENTER AVE Narrative: Officer responded to the PSB to meet with an elderly subject who wanted to speak with an Officer. Assist Fire 06/01/2017 08:16:42 2017-00004669 W WASHINGTON AVE Narrative: Officer responded to the area of the 300 block of West Washington Avenue for a report of mulch on fire. The mulch was located at the southeast corner of the property at 360 West Washington Avenue. Officer was unable to reach the homeowner at location, but phone contact was made. Lake Bluff and Knollwood Fire Departments responded. The fire department watered down the area. No apparent irregularities were observed. Theft Under $300 06/01/2017 08:19:50 2017-00004670 E WASHINGTON AVE Narrative: Complainant responded to the Public Safety Building to report she had $800 stolen from her purse sometime between 5/28/17 and 5/31/17.

Alarm Residential 06/01/2017 14:55:42 2017-00004679 ROTHBURY CT Narrative: Officer responded to the 300 block of Rothbury Ct for an activated burglar alarm and fire alarm. Officer arrived on scene and observed several contractors on site. Officer met with the homeowner who stated that the system was just installed and was being tested. The homeowner advised there were no problems at the residence and the alarm company was instructed to mark the alarm out of service. Officer noted no irregularities and cleared. Assist Fire 06/01/2017 15:13:59 2017-00004680 WARRINGTON CT Narrative: Officer responded to the 0-100 block of Warrington Ct for an ambulance assist. Officer arrived on scene with the Lake Bluff Fire Department and Lake Forest Ambulance 421. The fire department provided a lift assist for the patient and obtained a refusal. Officer cleared when no further assistance was needed. Animal Found 06/01/2017 18:04:58 2017-00004682 HIRST CT Narrative: Officer responded to the Lake Bluff PSB for a found cat that was walking around at the 300 block of Hirst Court. The animal had a microchip, however the number is not registered. The animal was transported to Knollwood Animal Hospital and entered into the found animal book. Accident Property Damage 06/01/2017 21:11:21 2017-00004683 E SHERIDAN RD / N MCKINLEY RD Narrative: Officer responded to the Lake Bluff PSB for a walk in delayed report of a two vehicle accident with no injuries. Officer completed a formal traffic crash report and copies were left for the driver's in the PSB Records Department. Check Well Being 06/01/2017 22:09:05 2017-00004686 SKOKIE HWY Narrative: Officer responded to the area of Route 41 north bound near Rt. 176 for a report of 2 subjects walking north bound by the inside median. Assist Fire 06/03/2017 10:41:51 2017-00004722 GREEN BAY RD Narrative: Officer was dispatched to the 100 block of Green Bay Road to assist the Lake Bluff and Knollwood Fire Departments with a beeping alarm called in by the homeowner. Officer assisted by directing traffic and was advised by Lake Bluff Command that the alarm was due to cooking smoke. No other police service was requested. Accident 06/03/2017 11:38:48 2017-00004724 RT 176 / SHAGBARK RD Narrative: Officer was advised by a motorcyclist that a vehicle hit his wrist while he was stopped in traffic on Rt. 176 near Shagbark Road. The vehicle then made an illegal right turn on red. The complainant attempted to stop the vehicle and spoke to the female driver who refused to stop and stated she was calling the police. Vehicle was last seen south on Rt. 41. The complainant requested an informational report only and no injuries were reported.

Officer checked the exterior, and found it secured. There was no keyholder response. Officer reported no irregularities. Animal Complaint 06/03/2017 14:33:23 2017-00004727 MOFFETT RD / E CENTER AVE Narrative: Officer responded back to the area of East North Avenue at Maple Avenue for a report of the two dogs at large being detained. Upon arrival, officer was able to detain a toy breed tan and white dog but the second dog, a toy breed brown shaggy dog would not respond to commands. Officer and a resident on East Washington Avenue attempted to capture the brown shaggy dog several times but were unsuccessful. The resident was able to grab the dog at one point but was bitten on the hand. The bite broke through the skin and there was some bleeding. Officers and the resident were able to capture the dog on the property on Maple Avenue by using the capture stick. Both dogs were taken to Knollwood Animal Hospital and turned over to hospital staff. Staff was advised the brown dog was aggressive and did bite a person. Staff advised the dog would be placed under observation for rabies. An Animal Bite Report was completed and faxed to Lake County Animal Control. Officer was unable to determine the owners of the dog. The dogs were also entered in the found animal log. The complainant stated his wife found the small white toy breed dog walking around in the area of Atkinson Road at Waukegan Road. Officer transported the dog to the Knollwood Animal Hospital and entered the dog into the found animal book. Driving Complaint 06/03/2017 20:13:05 2017-00004734 SIGNE CT Narrative: Officer responded to the area of Signe Court for a driving complaint. Officer met with a

resident of Signe Court and he advised that the young adults continue to drive at a high rate of speed and cause excessive noise while accelerating. Officer did not observe any violations upon arrival. The complainant stated this is an ongoing problem and has been reported countless times. Officer was provided with a video of a silver Nissan that drives out of view and then you hear a vehicle accelerating at a high rate of speed. Officer advised that the Lake Bluff Village Prosecutor will be advised of this complaint and provided with this report. Officer then attempted to locate the offenders and met with negative results. Officer spoke with the homeowner at that location and advised her of the complaints coming from her residence. She stated she is aware of the complainants and has requested her son and his friends stop driving recklessly in the area. No further enforcement action could be taken and officer cleared. Nine subjects were located and Cafe Citations C113587-C113595 were issued for trespassing after sunset. The citations were explained to all subjects and they were sent on their way.
