The Ministry War Marine consists an Under-Secretary, a Director in Charge Departments, Secretariat Ministry War Marine five Departments. Duties: I. Legislation; II. It consists a Secretariat, three departments, one section responsible for military engineering works, Military Geographical Institute which is responsible for topographical survey country, four inspectors various arms, one inspector military schools; four area commants with ir respective regimental staffs Army Officers' Practical Training School, are also directly under orders General Staff. A military commission concerned with archives, publications, military history is also attached to staff. B. THE SUPERIOR COUNCIL FOR WAR AND MARINE The Superior Council for War. Marine, created, in I928, is an advisory organ higher comm. It studies military problems which are submitted to it thus centralises in a permanent fashion duties ordinarily entrusted to different commissions. The Superior Council includes following members: The Minister War Marine. The Chief Staff Army. The Director Navy. Six Members appointed by President. The directors services members delegated by respective Councils when ir assistance is invited. C. TERRITORIAL MILITARY AREAS The country is divided into four military areas to each se is allotted a brigade comprising units all three arms - toger with ir respective services - which can be placed on a war footing in event general mobilisation, formed into two army divisions. D. COMPOSITION OF THE ARMY. The National Army consists : (a) The Regular Army (b) National Guard. THE REGULAR ARMY. A Division comprises : One general ficer comming Division, a Divisional Staff, an Infantry Commer, three infantry regiments; an Artillery Commer, one artillery regiment (three groups three batteries each) ; one Engineer Commer, one signal company (telegraphists, wireless operators, signallers telephonists) ; bridging troops, sappers ; one cavalry regiment three squadrons ; Flying Corps - one flight, park divisional train. E. ARMS AND SERVICES In/antry. The infantry unit is regiment, which comprises three battalions having each two or three companies (including one machine-gun company each). Cavalry. The cavalry unit is regiment, which comprises two or three squadrons. Artillery. (a) Horse Artillery. The unit is regiment, which comprises two groups (each having two batteries 75 mm. field guns). (b) Mounted Artillery. The unit is, regiment which comprises three batteries 75 -mm. field guns..sappers. The unit is a battalion three companies. Railway Troops. One railway battalion having two companies. Bridging Troops. One bridging battalion having two companies. Signalling Troops. One battalion telegraphists having two companies. Aviation Troops. 1 There is one Military Flying School which comprises four sections: Ist section, training; 2nd section, flights personnel ; 3rd section, workshops ; 4th section, services. Squadrons. Three flights: one fighting, one reconnaissance one bombing flight. 1 A Draft Law on National Aviation is at present under discussion. This Law provides for following : (a) air fleet, (b) marine aviation, (c) inspectorate civil aviation, (d) auxiliary services. The national air arm will be under direct authority Ministry War Marine, will include following organs (a) a directorate aeronautics, (b) a centre aeronautical studies, (c) an Air Council. The organic law constituting National Guard authorises President Republic to call on all citizens between 17 30 to undergo military training on Sundays holidays for three months in year.
