Welcome to the 2010 North American International Livestock Expo The Kentucky State Fair Board invites you to the 37th annual North American International Livestock Exposition (NAILE) the world s largest purebred livestock show. There is so much to see and do! During its two-week run, the event hosts nearly 22,000 livestock entries from almost every state. There are ten livestock show divisions: Dairy Cattle, Dairy Goats, Llamas & Alpacas, Market Swine, Quarter Horses, Draft Horses, Mules & Donkeys, Sheep, Beef Cattle and Boer Goats. Winners go home with their share of $700,000 in prize money and a lot of great memories of their time in our community. In addition to livestock competitions, NAILE is also the site of numerous youth livestock judging contests, including the prestigious National Collegiate Livestock Judging Contest and National 4-H Livestock Judging Contest. These events help train tomorrow s agricultural leaders. In all, there are more than 140 different shows, contests, sales and meetings. The NAILE is home to the Pro Rodeo Cowboys Association s North American Championship Rodeo. Cowboys and cowgirls compete for $80,000 in prize money and the title of regional champion on Nov. 11, 12 and 13 at 7:30 pm nightly in. Tickets are on sale at the KEC Ticket Office and through Ticketmaster. (see pages 4 and 5 for more details) Other entertaining activities include the giant Quarter Horse Show, Nov. 3 to 10, the Mule & Donkey Show taking place Nov. 11 to 13, and the Draft Horse Show on Nov. 12 and 13.
