Advancing Healthcare Awards Northern Ireland 2018 Information sheet Advancing Healthcare Awards Northern Ireland 2018 for Allied Health Professionals, Healthcare Scientists and those who work alongside them in support roles. Better Living Matters is the theme of the 2018 awards and conference for allied health professionals and healthcare scientists working in Nor thern Ireland. This builds on the Department of Health report Health and Wellbeing 2026 Delivering together, the outworking of the Professor Raphael Bengoa s Expert Panel s recommendations. It sets out ways to tackle the issues we face in our health and social care system. The judges expect all entries to demonstrate how their work has improved quality and safety. New projects and initiatives are welcome as long as there has been time for proper evaluation, but we are also interested in more established services which have stood the test of time and adapted to meet new needs. There is no award specifically for e-health projects but these are welcome under any category; and team entries that include suppor t workers and assistant practitioners are welcomed. The closing date for submissions is 10 September 2018. All awards are open to AHPs and healthcare scientists.
