Join the UCIE Convo Club on November 9th, 2015 from 3 4pm in the UCIE Conference Room (Student Union E190) for a chance to interact with native English speakers and improve your skills in a fun and friendly environment. During this year s International Education Week (November 16 20, 2015), the University Center for International Education (UCIE) office will hold a Photo Contest. DEADLINE November 10th. The winning photos should meet one of the following criteria: 1. Landscape shot 2. Portrait 3. Cultural depiction Photo Contest Rules: Participants must be WSU Students, Faculty/Staff, and Alumni: Please contact Anoop at ucie19@wright.edu for application instructions.

7) UCIE Poster Contest (Win $50): An opportunity to participate and showcase your creativity. Create a poster for the UCIE's biggest annual event the "Wright State International Festival" with the following theme: "Innovations Around the World". The winning poster may be used as the official International Festival poster in April 2016. DEADLINE November 10th. Contents must be of original idea/content in (11x17) Tabloid, 300 DPI or in vector format. Submit source files and a physical print out to the UCIE office. For more information please contact Chugo at ucie18@wright.edu. 8) I 20 Signing Party Fall 2015: University Center for International Education (UCIE) is providing students an opportunity to get their I 20's signed for this Fall/Winter break travel. Students must not have any holds, have 6 months validity on passport, have valid I 20 for nest semester and be in good academic standing to receive IMMEDIATE TRAVEL SIGNATURE. Location: 2nd Floor Student Union, Room E244 C Signing Sessions: November 3rd, 18th, 2015 (11:30 AM 1:00 PM) & December 1st, 9th, 2015 (11:30 AM 1:00 PM) Please Note: Students can still submit their I 20's for travel signature requests any time. 9) International Women's Gathering: An awesome gathering just for women. Hear from breast cancer survivor, Michelle Streeter Ferrari, learn the ancient Chinese art of Tai Chi, and enjoy an international potluck. Feel free to bring food to share! 10) OPT Instructions for Fall 2015 International students graduating in fall 2015 semester may begin applying for OPT on September 21, 2015. The final date for fall 2015 graduates to apply for OPT is February 5, 2016. Choose a start date OPT between 12/20/2015 and 2/18/2016. PLEASE NOTE: If you have any reservations regarding potential graduation for fall 2015 semester, do not apply for OPT until you are certain about graduation. 11) Fall Semester Open Immigration Advising STARTING SEPTEMBER 8TH IN E190 STUDENT UNION Check out the days and times below to consult with one of the University Center for International Education immigration advisors!
