s DonorSearch was founded in 2007 with one goal: to provide more accurate, more comprehensive, more actionable data to help nonprofits of all types achieve better fundraising and outreach results. Using proprietary philanthropy databases and algorithms, as well as tens of millions of records from public databases, we provide reports manually verified by in-house prospect researchers that combine past philanthropic activity and traditional markers. The result: you not only know each individual s capacity for giving, but also the likelihood of each prospect supporting your mission. DonorSearch Products ProspectView Screening ProspectView Plus Daily Patient Screening Planned Giving Identification (PGID) Data Appends

Why Choose DonorSearch? We Care Unlike other companies in the industry, DonorSearch is in business for one reason: to help your nonprofit achieve its mission. We are passionate about improving your fundraising efforts so that your organization can grow. We Start with Proven Philanthropy DonorSearch is the only prospect research company that starts with proven philanthropy to provide more accurate, more comprehensive, and more actionable data to help nonprofits of all types achieve better fundraising and outreach results. Our research has shown that past giving to nonprofits is a much better indicator of future giving than wealth alone. We Manually Verify Data We are the only company that has in-house prospect researchers to manually verify top prospects. The process makes sure that screening results are as accurate as possible, saving valuable time for the development office staff to get to the next major gift. We Provide Excellent Customer Service Every DonorSearch client has access to our customer service team at no additional cost. Our Client Support experts train each new client individually using the client s own data. Our Advanced Training sessions can help you perform in-depth analysis of your donor and prospect pool, and show you which philanthropic and wealth indicators highlight your major gift prospects. 2

ProspectView Screening DonorSearch s ProspectView provides the most detailed wealth and philanthropic profiles in the industry, which are available for every prospect screened. A thorough overview of a prospect s wealth and philanthropy outlines both the capacity and the inclination to give. Added to our screening service, at no charge to the client, is a manual review of your top prospects. Our in-house prospect research specialists manually verify information, raising the accuracy rate of the data to 90% - the highest in the industry. This process saves valuable time for your development officers during the qualification phase, and moves them more quickly into the cultivation stage with your top prospects. DonorSearch s screening results are returned to you via our online tool, and can be imported into any major donor management system. Our integration allows you to further analyze the data and easily apply it to your fundraising and outreach efforts. 3

ProspectView Online: Integrated Search DonorSearch s newly redesigned Integrated Search is a comprehensive prospect research tool that delivers philanthropy, wealth, and analytics in an easy-to-use format. With Integrated Search, organizations can research indepth information about any prospective donor, formulate ask amounts, identify an engagement strategy, and more. In seconds, Integrated Search reports: In-depth philanthropy Political giving Ask amounts based on philanthropy and wealth Corporate and nonprofit involvement Other organizations your donors support Real estate ownership SEC insider stock transactions Links to annual reports Personal, corporate and organization backgrounds 4

ProspectView Online: Prospect Generator One of the best places to find new prospects in on the donation lists of similar organizations: organizations that share your mission, your geography, or have other factors in common. With Prospect Generator, you can find the donors who have demonstrated loyalty to organizations similar or complementary to yours. You can also research fundraising efforts by other organizations to see how yours compare and complete a strategic review of your development goals. Want to find out more about a donation or organization? Links to outside information make it easy to do additional research or export data for further analysis or reporting. 5

ProspectView Online: Gift Search Gift Search allows you to search for all of the gifts given by an individual, a couple, a foundation, or an organization. At a glance, you can see what types of causes and organizations a donor supports, analyze giving patterns, and filter donations by year, amount, state, and other criteria. You can also cross-research both donors and gift recipients, as well as access annual reports where donations are named. You can also use the annual report feature to find the names other supporters that will help you make connections with new donors. 6

ProspectView Online: My Portfolio My Portfolio is a powerful screening and reporting tool that allows you to sort and analyze your information in many ways. Every time you search for a prospect, that prospect s name and information is automatically added to your portfolio for quick and easy retrieval. Once you have compiled a list of prospective donors, information can be sorted and filtered, or exported for further reporting and analysis. Built-in links allow you to view the full report on any prospect. 7

Daily Patient Screening DonorSearch s Daily Patient Screening helps you identify the best prospective donors at the perfect time to begin a relationship: while they are still in your facility, or while their positive experience is still fresh in their minds and they still feel grateful towards your organization. Upload a batch of names in the evening, and within a few hours you will have in-depth wealth and philanthropic information that can help you pinpoint your strongest prospects. Daily Patient Screening is ideal for organizations that want to incorporate this best practice into their fundraising strategy. Patients appreciate the extra attention and service from an organization, and you can start relationships with potential donors who are receptive to learning more about your organization. 8

Planned Giving Identification (PGID) Finding donors who plan to make sizeable bequests to your organization is very different from identifying the donors who can make major gifts. In fact, according to surveys, 40% of all planned giving donations come from donors who have not given large gifts in the past and are unknown to the organization s development officers. PGID uses sophisticated modeling and analytics to identify the donors who are most likely to support your organization with a substantial legacy gift, so your development officers can begin the conversation with future donors today. By back-testing known planned giving donors among a pool of 14,000 records, PGID was able to identify 84% of the known planned givers. The PGID Rating indicates the most likely to least likely of planned giving donors. 9

Data Appends DonorSearch can append your existing donor data to add contact and other critical information, including: National Change of Address (NCOA) Date of Birth (DOB)/Age Email Address Telephone Number Cell Phone Number Skip Tracing 10
