Yorkshire Care Equipment is a specialist healthcare equipment supplier, established in 1972. Over the years our strong commitment to our motto Taking Special Care of You TM has enabled us to provide the same caring service to private individuals, the NHS, including healthcare professionals and equipment loan stores, and contract clients such as architects, building contractors, hotels, care homes, hospitals, hospices, and other care institutions. To celebrate our 40th anniversary our sister company INNOVA TM has been born. We aim to challenge the way things are being done in the healthcare sector, to design and develop new revolutionary products, and to change the way people think about care equipment. We want to think hard about aesthetics whilst focusing on function. And if we ve enhanced quality of life along the way, we know we ve achieved our goals. p / 03

MEET THE INTEGRALIFT; AN INNOVATIVE NEW PATIENT HOIST. ITS DESIGN IS REVOLUTIONARY, FRESH, GROUND-BREAKING. IT S HIDDEN FROM SIGHT, YET STRIKINGLY USER-FRIENDLY. p / 05

The Concept If fixed lifting equipment is required, we ve got some good news for you. It no longer needs to detract from the appearance of the room in which it s fitted, as the Integralift TM is a unique patientlifting solution that folds neatly away into fitted cabinets when not in use. Representing a welcome alternative to conventional fixed hoists, the Integralift TM provides what you need, but leaves you with the environment that you want tasteful, uncluttered and welcoming. Visit our website for more information p / 06

How it Works 1 Activate Open closet and pull out the lift. Position the lift above the user. 2 Place the sling Position the sling under the user. Hook the sling on to the lifting bar. Make sure the lifting straps are inside the grooves of the lifting bar. 3 The transfer Lift and position the user over the chair. Lower the user into the chair. 4 Completed Place the lifting bar and the remote in their designated places. Swing the lift back to its wall position. Put the sling back in the closet. p / 07

Configure your Integralift The Integralift TM is highly configurable, meaning that it is suited to virtually any environment, whether it be for a domestic setting, a hospital ward, or a hotel room. 1 Select your positioning Choose from left or right versions, depending on the layout of your room. 2 Select your mounting option Fix to block, brick, concrete or timber with Floor to Ceiling Structure, Wall Mount Structure, Inside Wall Structure (ideal for new builds as the whole post is hidden behind the wall), Concrete Wall Structure or Concrete Ceiling Structure options. p / 08

3 Select your cabinet design Choose from hundreds of aesthetic configurations - change your cabinet colour or wood design, add an extra upright cupboard on the other side of the bed, or even make it into a bookshelf for use in a sitting room! 4 Select your options Matching beds, bedside tables, wardrobes, and other furniture are all available to match your chosen Integralift TM cabinet. Different light fittings can be integrated in the top cupboard. For hospitals or hospices, choose from options such as integrated services including oxygen, lighting, laminate construction for infection control, and integrated drugs cabinets and wardrobes. p / 09

p / 10 Integralift for Domestic use

With hundreds of different wood colour and handle options, the Integralift TM can blend seamlessly into any environment. Comfort in your own home The Integralift TM is ideal for use in private homes. Private individuals love the way it blends into the environment seamlessly, matching with any decor. With different cabinet colours and styles, different handle types, and different configurations, this lifter is truly configurable. Right: With hundreds of different options, the Integralift TM blends in seamlessly with existing décor and furniture. In the past, clients were forced to choose between a mobile hoist (which can be difficult to use), or a ceiling track hoist (which can be difficult to install, and doesn t always look the best). The Integralift TM is easy to install, causing minimal disruption, and is straightforward to use. p / 11

Integralift for Hospitals & Hospices TM At Innova TM we believe that the Integralift TM is what hospitals and hospices have been waiting for - a patient hoist which is easy & safe to use, fully integrated into its surroundings, & better for infection control. Left: The lifter can be integrated into a full ward cupboard system, incorporating storage space, medical gases, and many other facilities. Efficient workflow The Integralift TM has been designed to save caregivers time during transfers. The lifter and sling are always ready for use, with everything stored in dedicated places. The hoist also never needs to be charged as it is wired up to the mains supply. Easy to use The Integralift TM is simple to use, meaning that nurses and other staff can be trained quickly and easily. Convenience: Hospices love the flexibility the Integralift TM offers. The hoist fits in with the homely surroundings, and is ready for use at any time as client needs change. Full integration Services such as sockets, medical gases, vacuum systems, and nurse-call alarms can all be fitted into the same cabinet beside the bed for improved efficiency and enhanced aesthetics. Wardrobes, bedside cabinets, lockable drug storage compartments, patient lights, ward screens, and foldable beds for the friends and relatives of patients are just a few of the items which can be incorporated into the same cupboard structure. Unlike overhead hoist systems, the Integralift TM does not interfere with ceiling mounted ward curtains. Infection control When it comes to infection control, Integralift TM really comes into its own. Rather than long lengths of overhead ceiling track which cannot be cleaned, this product can be wiped with ease. The top of the hoist can be sloped if required, whilst the cabinet can be constructed from full thickness laminate for greater infection control. p / 12

Choose from a number of patient lighting options. Services such as medical gases, nurse call systems, and electrical sockets can all be integrated into the cabinet. Options such as lockable drugs cabinets, ward screens, and clothes hangers can be incorporated into the cabinet structure. p / 13

Integralift for Hotels TM With 10 million disabled people in Britain, the need for disabled facilities in hotels is extensive. Hotels have the opportunity to attract these users to stay with them by having the Integralift TM installed in their bedrooms. The lifter is particularly suited to the hospitality market as it looks like part of the furnishings when not in use, so the room can be used for both disabled and non-disabled clients. Five reasons for a hotel to install the Integralift 1. Hotels have a responsibility to provide for disabled people. Section 12.8.1 of British Standards 8300:2009 states: For new buildings, the minimum provision of accessible bedrooms as a percentage of the total number of bedrooms should be 5% with a fixed tracked-hoist system or similar system giving the same degree of convenience and safety. The Integralift TM enables you to ensure you bedrooms meet the current requirements without detracting from the appearance of the room. 2. Figures released by VisitEngland show overnight trips made by, or accompanied by, someone with a health impairment or condition accounted for a leisure industry spend of almost 1 billion in six months. People with disabilities account for 20% of the average business customer base and spend 80 billion per annum. It is also proven that people make a conscious decision NOT to visit somewhere if they believe they cannot use appropriate facilities. 3. Hotels with patient lifting equipment are frequented by disabled people. Many guesthouses have found great benefit in installing a hoist in terms of increased client footfall and customer loyalty, whilst organisations & websites such as www.chuc.org.uk actively promote hotels with disabled facilities to a wide client group of disabled people. 4. Integralift TM is a low maintenance product. The hoist is always on charge with a battery back-up and all equipment required including the sling can be stored in the cabinet. 5. The Integralift TM can easily be installed in an existing room in your hotel. Innova TM can supply, install and commission each unit in accordance with regulations. Installing the Integralift TM hoist is a fantastic way for hotels to move beyond their competition. By being able to accommodate for disabled users in a way that is not obtrusive or disturbing to clients, the hotel will be in a league of its own. p / 14

With 10 million disabled people in Britain, installing the Integralift TM in a hotel can make a big difference to client footfall and can result in increased revenue. For a video demonstration visit or call 0845 034 145 for more information. p / 15
