The School Counseling Office presents our annual Financial Aid Night for Parents and Students. The presentation will be held on Tuesday, October 16th from 6 to 7:30pm in the WHS auditorium. Learn about the FAFSA and all the ways to receive Financial Aid..in one night. See Mr. Byrnes in the School Counseling Office with any questions. The 41st Annual Carroll County Public Schools College Fair will be held on Monday, October 8, 2018, from 5:30 to 8:00 p.m. at Carroll Community College, located at 1601 Washington Road in Westminster. Students and parents will have the opportunity to meet with representatives from more than 150 colleges and universities. Representatives from the military, technical schools, and training programs will also be at the fair. Counselors from CCPS high schools will be present to answer questions. Representatives from the Admissions and Financial Aid Offices of Carroll Community College will also be available to talk with students and parents. Any student who signed up for the Mock Trial Team at the beginning of the year will be requested to Mr. Robinson s room for Flex on Tuesday. If you cannot make that
meeting or if you are not requested, please come after school on Wednesday from 2:30 3:00 p.m. The Kamryn Lambert Foundation is pleased to announce that they will once again be able to award scholarships in Kamryn's name to members of the State of Maryland High School Graduating Class on 2019. Applications are available in the Counseling Office or on line for any students who plan to pursue a degree in nursing or other related medical field. The deadline to apply is April 15, 2019 and the application packet must include the completed application, essay and official transcripts.
