ORACLE TALEO CLOUD FOR MIDSIZE (TALEO BUSINESS EDITION) We are announcing the general availability of the 17A1 release of the Oracle Taleo Cloud for Midsize (TBE) on January 20 th, 2017. This release introduces goals and reviews on the Talent Center as well as improves the candidate flow on the Career Center. TALENT CENTER ENHANCEMENTS Released in April, the Talent Center is our fresh and modern employee experience that is fully responsive. The Talent Center can be used on mobile devices as well as desktops. Previously available to only Onboard customers, this release expands the Talent Center to Perform customers. PERFORMANCE REVIEWS Employees can now complete their portion of performance reviews, also known as self-assessments, on the Talent Center. Employees can also now access and complete their reviews on a mobile device. The scores that employees select for each competency factor are automatically saved, preventing data loss due to poor connection issues. The reviews are presented in a user-friendly UI that is fully responsive. Administrators can configure different page layouts for performance reviews that can be assigned to different review templates. The layouts are configured directly on the Talent Center using a drag and drop interface. GOALS Employees can create goals on the Talent Center, submit goals for approval, and update existing goals. They can also copy, print and delete goals. Goals that are included in performance reviews can also be updated as part of the reviews. If administrators have allowed for private goals, employees can maintain a list of private goals on the Talent Center that will not be seen by the manager and therefore will not be included in any reviews. 4
CAREER CENTER ENHANCEMENTS This release improves the flow for candidates on the Career Center. APPLYING WITH MONSTER PROFILE Candidates can use the Save Time feature on the Career Center to log in with their Monster account and have their resumes parsed. Candidates applying to a job on Monster will be taken to the Career Center and have their resume parsed to pre-fill the application. Candidates coming to the Career Center from an external site (including Monster) will be directed to the Login Page, as opposed to the registration page, if the email address provided in the link URL contains an email address that has previously been used to apply for job with this company (therefore a Candidate record already exists). In addition, if the First Name and/or Last Name are provided in the URL link, these fields will be populated once the application is started. SOURCING CENTER CANDIDATE FLOW Candidates who apply to jobs from the Sourcing Center will now have their email addresses auto populated on the Career Center registration page, improving their experience. VETERAN/DISABILITY FIELD CHANGE Customers can also elect to make the Veteran/Disability a single select field on the Career Center rather than a multi-select field. By editing the field and controlling the selections that candidates can make, customers can stay current on any regulations for this field. 5
DISPLAY NAME ENHANCEMENT FOR JAPANESE/CHINESE/HUNGARIAN LOCALES For the Japanese, Chinese and Hungarian languages, the order of the first and last name of users, candidates, and employees has been reversed in many places throughout Taleo Business Edition, the Talent Center, the Career Center, and the Employee Website. The new order presents the name in a culturally correct format. For example, in a list view of candidates, the information will display without the comma as: LastName First Name When viewing a candidate record, the name at the top will display as: LastName FirstName This change does not extend to the page layouts where customers can control the order of the fields. 6
TBE TO HCM CLOUD (FUSION) INTEGRATION This release introduces the ability for customers to set up the integration from TBE to HCM Cloud (Fusion) for the purpose of creating new employees in HCM Cloud. Customers can select to have the source of record be either the TBE Candidate record or the TBE Employee record. Fields can be easily mapped from TBE to HCM Cloud (Fusion). Additionally, customers can determine the status that will trigger the export of data from TBE to Fusion. Any failure information can be emailed to a user so that the data can be corrected and sent once again. --- 7
