ABOUT XNTree is a global innovation and economy enabler, and a leader in innovation delivery, new venture development and ecosystem creation in Level39. XNTree was founded in 2016 and aims at expanding the success model of Level39 and Cognicty(Smart City Challenge) to Asia and apply the similar model to the Asian market. XNTree is now planning to establish Technology Innovation Hub Asia in Seoul, Korea and open in 2016, by the support of the local government and Asian IT & Financial service companies. Meanwhile, XNTree established a strategic partnership with The Floor, Israeli FinTech Cluster and T-Factor, Technion University. Besides, XNTree also signed on MoUs with Financial Services Commission (FSC) and Seoul Metropolitan Government (SMG) in 2015 to enhance the ecosystem of Fintech and Smart City. CANARY WHARF FINANCIAL DISTRICT XNTree believes that it will make bring the great success in nurturing the Asian innovative startups in the next few years as it did with Level39 and Cognicity in London. XNTree initiated the program in Asia in 2016, partnering with Korea Energy Power Corporation (KEPCO), BNK Financial Group, Hansol Textile and some municipality government in South Korea. XNTree has a broad network of the mentors in the field of Fintech, smart city solution and high-tech and has recently appointed Mr. Eric Van der Kleij, former CEO of London Tech City and former Head of Level Level39. He is currently Chairman of UKTI Advisory Group in Fintech and Blockchain. 2

TECHNOLOGY INNOVATION PROGRAMME DELIVERABLES XNTree will work with the client to establish programmatics that are bespoke and specifically designed to attract local, regional and international start-ups for structured engagement with the client. Based on our extensive expertise within Europe and USA, these programmes will provide the bridge from East to West and West to East. XNTree will provide the team to deliver the programme. The client key staff will have an active engagement in the ongoing delivery through regular Steering Group Meetings, events and innovator mentor opportunities. XNTree will facilitate interactions with targeted ecosystems of early stage start ups for partnership, technology adoption or acquisition by the client. The client and affiliated start-ups gain access to the latest trends in the innovative technology from the leading global markets. OUTCOME The client achieves measurable operational cost savings in addition to gaining access and oversight of leading innovations from the region and internationally. The client will take the majority of equity on the startup while XNTree invests less than 49%. 13

THE LAB DELIVERABLES The client to participate in the creation of new technologies through intensive development phases within The Lab (please see appendix for an example). Phases of development are: proof of concept, prototyping, product creation. The client to gain access to global technology deployment opportunities through XNTree s extensive network. The client to participate in the creation of IP and new business models. Potentially support the client affiliated technology through integration as component parts into larger Lab developed products. OUTCOME The client achieves operational cost savings and/or additional revenue streams through the development of new IP, POC (Proof of Concept) of existing solutions and potentially new ventures. The client will take the majority of equity on the IP while XNTree invests less than 49%. 14

GLOBAL SYNDICATE FUND DELIVERABLES The client to have priority access as the Fund s Asian cornerstone. XNTree to perform thorough start-up analysis for selection into the Syndicate Fund. Each company will be exposed to a rigorous due diligence process to understand the long term business potential. Investment from the Fund awarded for start-ups successfully completing programmes, attracting higher calibre deal flow. The Fund will attract other international co-investors. The Fund will provide a suite of investment products/instruments that will appeal to start-ups. XNTree will align the international investors to so as to provide international scale up support (smart money). Target fund size: About USD 100 million (At the first closing). At the final closing, the total fund size will be bigger than USD 200 million OUTCOME The client s portfolio expands and achieves long term investment growth through the startups and technologies that XNTree and other clients will develop. 15

COGNICITY INITIATIVE PATHFINDERS - Selection Five companies were selected to be Pathfinders for the Cognicity Challenge. These companies already had smart city technologies and were existing members of the Level39 community. Prior to the Cognicity Challenge launch, these companies were given the earliest opportunity to engage with, and provide their products and services to, Canary Wharf Group in the hope of securing a pilot. As such, their experiences in navigating through the procurement process, and insights gained as a result, were to act as a guide to the Cognicity Challenge participants.pathfinder presentation sessions gave the pathfinder companies the opportunity to explain their technologies and solutions, and share their experiences of engaging with the Canary Wharf Group with the Cognicity innovators. Furthermore, pathfinders and innovators were encouraged to explore opportunities to collaborate and integrate their solutions - examples of current collaborations can be seen on the digital supporting document. 27
