ENLISTMENT OF CONTRACTORS FOR CIVIL, ELECTRICAL AND INTERIOR WORKS Estate and Maintenance Applications are invited for enlistment of contractors for civil, electrical and interior works from any individual, sole proprietorship firm, partnership firm, public limited company, cooperative labour and construction society for execution of works upto Rs.5 lakhs. The enlisted contractors have to abide by all the instructions made herein and as amended from time to time during the currency of the enlistment. 1. The enlistment shall be valid for a period of 5yrs. However it shall be open to review by enlisting authority. 2. The contractors have to satisfy the minimum eligibility criteria as indicated in table 1. 3. Electrical license: The contractors of electrical category shall have to produce valid electrical license from the competent authority in the name of the contractor. They shall keep valid license throughout the period of enlistment by getting it renewed at suitable intervals and submit an attested copy of the same to the enlistment authority after each renewal. In event of any discontinuity in validity of electrical license of the contractor, its enlistment and authority to work with NIOT will also automatically cease to be valid. 4. Statutory Registration: The contractors applying for enlistment should submit copies of following statutory registration certificates. a. PAN b. TIN/ Sales tax registration certificate c. Solvency certificate issued by any nationalized bank. 5. Enlistment procedure: The contractor shall have to submit the application in the prescribed form (Annexure I) to the enlistment authority complete with all documents. 6. Average annual financial turnover during last 3 years should be a minimum of 30% of the tendering limit of work. For this purpose the copy of balance sheet, profit and loss account as well as income and expenditure account should be enclosed.

Proprietorship Partnership 2(a) List of Civil/Electrical/Interior works carried out in the past 3 years and furnish copies in proof of having done the work. b) In house man power details with their qualifications.(enclose individual bio-data with proof) c) Indicate the tools and machine available for executing the Civil/Electrical/Interior works. 3a) Whether Income Tax Assessee if so enclose copy of latest IT assessment order. b) Have you had any legal/arbitration proceedings instituted in connection with the works listed in 2a. c) Furnish copies of audited balance sheet and profit and loss account (audited) for the last three years.
d) Capacity to submit maximum amount of security Deposit (or) Bank Guarantee. 4 Furnish the names of three responsible person who will be in a position to certify about the quality as well as past performance of your organization i)... ii).. iii). 5 Are you willing to carry out petty works costing less than Rs.50,000/- on limited tender basis? Are you willing to carry out the work based on the rates of items of works which arrived as per CPWD schedule of rates by NIOT 6 Any other information which you feel is relevant to the requirement indicated in the advertisement for pre-qualification. 7(a) Are you a licensed surveyor (or) registered contractor in any other Govt. Departments for civil works, if so a copy of valid license shall be enclosed. b) Are you a licensed EB/ESB/EA/ESA if so valid license shall be enclosed. (in case of electrical works) 8 Whether you have enclosed copies of Statutory requirements 1.PAN no. 2.TIN no. 3.Service tax registration no. etc., 9 Whether you have furnished solvency certificate issued by Bankers for a value of Rs.5lakhs. (Applicable for 2lakhs- 5lakhs tenders)
ANNEXURE-II Solvency Certificate-V FORM OF BANKERS CERTIFICATION FROM A SCHEDULED BANK This is to certify that to the best of our knowledge and information M/s.Sri. having marginally noted address, a customer of our bank are / is respectable and can be treated as good for any engagement upto a limit of Rs (Rupees ). This certificate is issued without any guarantee of responsibility on the Bank or any of the officers. This certificate is issued on the request of shri/smt.m/s for obtaining enlistment/revalidation of Enlistment in NIOT in (Name of category) Class..
