In 2015, Fiskars tripled the number of recipients to award 30 applicants with a grant and garden tools. Fiskars Project Orange Thumb has provided over $1.6 million to more than 180 community groups since the program began in 2002. Choose from 4 exciting kits, for use with Next Generation Science Standards, GA Standards of Excellence in Science, and state standards in Three-Dimensional Science. We believe that technology can present innovative ways to address environmental challenges and that when dealing with digital natives, we do ourselves a disservice by asking them to unplug.
