Self Development / Recruiting Points The intent of the Fall 2011 ROTC Recruiting Campaign is to gain cadet support in bringing qualified future leaders into the Army ROTC Program. It provides incentives for the cadets to actively introduce and talk about the ROTC Program to their friends, classmates, and other associates. By increasing the effort between cadre members and cadets in recruiting, the UM Army ROTC will effectively achieve its mission of commissioning the future leaders of the US Army. Each cadet in the program will be required to earn at least 30 points as part of their grade in their MSL classes. The following methods are authorized for earning self development points for contracted MS Is, MS IIs, and MS IIIs. Non-contracted prospects are also encouraged to participate, but are not required to do so. The list is not intended to be all-inclusive, rather it is a guide for earning the recruiting development points. Other ideas, however, must be approved by the Recruiting Operations Officer before any points will be awarded. Revision Date: 31 July 2010 19

Self Development Points Options # Points 1. Work at a recruiting booth (1 hour) 10 points (Max = 20 Pts) 2. Distribute flyers at drill or on campus 10 points 3.
