Broadcast every Tuesday at 10:00-11:00 a.m. on WYCB 1340 AM. Stoddard Baptist Home, Inc. has a legacy of caring for the aging population in the District of Columbia since 1902 and operates Stoddard Baptist Nursing Home, a 164-bed nursing facility. Additionally, under Stoddard s management is Stoddard Baptist Global Care, a 259-bed facility. Stoddard is also in the development stages of Presidential Estates at Sycamore Hill, an assisted living facility in Mitchellville, Maryland. The program discussions vary, but are focused on healthcare issues and areas of service provided at Stoddard s entities of care. National Skilled Nursing Care Week - May 13-19, 2018 The theme, Celebrating Life s Stories, pays homage to the diverse set of perspectives that residents, families and staff bring to everyday interactions. During this week, nursing care facilities will be encouraged to collect narratives on each individual s most significant life events, relationships and experiences to cultivate a shared sense of purpose at the facility and in the surrounding community.
