CICTP2015 Progress Page 6 ORGANIZERS Chinese Overseas Transportation Association (COTA) Beijing Jiaotong University (BJTU) 主办单位海外华人交通协会 (COTA) 北京交通大学 (BJTU) The 15th COTA International Conference of Transportation Professionals (CICTP2015) will be held during July 25-27, 2015, in Beijing, China, jointly organized by Beijing Jiaotong University (BJTU) and Chinese Overseas Transportation Association (COTA). The conference proceedings will be published by American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE), and papers included in all previous CICTP proceedings published by ASCE have been indexed via the EI Compendex and can be accessed worldwide. The CICTP series, established by COTA and sponsored by ASCE and Transportation Research Board (TRB), is a premier gathering of transportation professionals worldwide who are interested in contributing to or gaining a profound understanding of transportation development in China. Selected papers from previous CICTPs have been invited to submit to special issues of SCI-indexed journals. We plan to continue this tradition and seek to publish special journal issues for CICTP2015 on internationally recognized journals, including: ASCE Journal of Transportation Engineering, ASCE Journal of Urban Planning and Development, IET Intelligent Transportation Systems Journal, Journal of Intelligent Transportation Systems, Transportation Research Part C, Transportation Research Part D. As the hosts and organizers of CICTP2015, BJTU and COTA warmly welcome transportation professionals from academia, industry, and government agencies to participate in and/or contribute to CICTP2015. CICTP2015 will address critical issues and challenges emerging from the development of efficient, safe and green multimodal transportation systems. The conference will provide a platform for exchanging and sharing of international experiences in developing and applying innovative solutions and advanced technologies in transportation. In addition to regular technical sessions, several plenary sessions are planned for internationally prestigious experts and scholars to discuss the state-of-the -art/practice transportation development. Other special forums will be focused on issues that are of great interest to the audience of various backgrounds, including the World Bank Forum, the Dean s Forum, and COTA Career Development Forum for Young Scholars and Students. The best-paper awards and other professional awards will be granted to the authors of excellent papers or institutes/ enterprises which have made outstanding contributions to the development of transportation systems in China.
