TNMP Power Grants 2018
Power Grants Providing $100,000 to help build vibrant Texas communities where TNMP serves. Community Safety: improve community safety either directly for residents in public areas or indirectly through public safety services and programs. Economic Vitality: enhance economic development opportunities, including job training and job creation. Education: support educational initiatives, especially those targeting literacy, improving high school graduation rates, youth leadership and workforce development skills. Environment: provide measurable and visible environmental impacts, including preservation, restoration and beautification, or environmental education.
Grant Proposal Overview Describe the project and community need. Demonstrate collaboration and engagement of community members, volunteers, partners and stakeholders. Include measurable goals, a budget and timeline. Detail plans for maintenance and sustainability. Describe how TNMP will be recognized, including signage and other outreach plans. Describe how the project will utilize TNMP volunteers, if possible.
Evaluation & Awards Proposals will be screened to ensure they comply with all criteria. Each proposal that passes the first screening will be read and evaluated by a cross sector team of TNMP employees. Applicants will be notified as to the status of their grant application no later than November 1, 2018. Applicants will have until July 31, 2019 to complete their projects.

What If We Are Selected? We will contact you with a grant agreement (contract) You will sign off on agreement and return You will be required to report on results that came from your grant. We may come visit your program to see it in action.
