Please make sure if you take a tag you return a gift. All gifts are to be.. RETURNED NO LATER THAN, Dec. 15 th. This will give us time to sort and deliver the gifts before Christmas. Dear SPN Parents, We wanted to take this opportunity to talk to you about SPN Trivia Night XV that will take place on January 19, 2018 at Lu Lu Temple in Blue Bell. If you have never had an opportunity to attend this in the past, this is the perfect time to come and join us. This is a great and fun night for our parish and school community. We know you might have questions about Trivia Night, so here some frequent asked questions: What happens at Trivia Night? It s a night of fun with your friends and family of SPN. Doors open at 6:15 and dinner is served around 630-645 and the trivia fun begins at 730. There are 10 rounds of questions. Not only do you get to play trivia, but there is an opportunity to win great baskets that the Home and School Association, our school families and parishioners donate, and we also have a 50/50 drawing. Last year s take home prize was over $1,200 just for our 50/50 alone. How many people can I have at my table? We recommend that you have 8-10 people at each table. What if I do not have a full table? If you have only few people to your table or maybe, it s just you. We will be glad to match you up with another small group to make one awesome group. Are the questions hard? The questions can vary from history, science, music, and movies to pop culture and so much more. People think you must know everything to play and enjoy. All you need is the right people to have a fun night. Even if there are hard questions, we have an answer for that, it s called Easy Passes. What are Easy Passes? Easy Passes are basically a free answer for each round. It s a guarantee right answer without really answering it. You place the sticker on your sheet with the question you need it for and it gets easy points. You can purchase them on the night of the event for $10 a pass, but you can only buy up to 10 passes (one per round). But if you pre-purchase them on the event website, you get 12 for the price of 10. That means you can use an extra one for 2 rounds. Not a bad deal!! How do I recruit for my team? This is an opportunity to get out with family or friends and even maybe to meet your fellow grade parents. We have parents who have children in the 7 th and 8 th grade, who have been coming to this event together since kindergarten. It has become a tradition for them; maybe your class can start a new tradition, as well. How do I register for the event? The website will be open on Dec 4 th at 8:30am (see separate flyer for this information). You can have one person register for the whole table, but you must have at least one person paid in full to reserve the table. If everyone is registering and paying individually and you want to be with a certain team, all you ll have to do is make a comment on the registry, so we know whose team you are on. What can I bring to for the evening? We do provide dinner, water, soda, coffee and beer. If you want to bring your own snacks and other fine spirits, that is great. But what you really need to bring is your THINKING CAPS. We hope this helps you in understanding a little more about Trivia Night, but if you should have any other questions, please feel free to contact me at Kmjohnson615@yahoo.com or at 267-716-4540. Thank you for your continued support of SPN Home and School Association. Sincerely Kristi Johnson Home and School Board
