Why is the Cougar Pride Club important? The Pride helps the athletic department provide student-athlete scholarships and program support. By becoming a member, you help our student-athletes maximize their success academically and athletically while receiving the best opportunities to reach their full potential. Growth of the Cougar Pride Club is crucial to the continued success and sustainability of our athletic department. JACEY HUINKER Altoona, IA Women s Basketball Nursing Most Influential Person Is: My best friend and high school teammate, who is now playing professionally overseas. She showed me that working hard can take you further than talent. Typical Pre-competition Routine: I m pretty superstitious, so my routine is always the same. I get some shots up, eat the pre-game meal and anxiously watch tv or a movie while waiting for the game to start. What does Coach Trap look for from his players? Coach does a great job bringing in players that are not only great basketball players, but they work hard off the court as well. We all have similar values and our team is more like a family.

My Gift. My Impact. Join The Pride. With each gift to the Cougar Pride Club, additional scholarship opportunities are made available to the student-athletes who represent the University of Sioux Falls both in competition and in the classroom. The ability to provide financial resources to these students is your impact. Tuition Costs (2018 2019 Rates) Tuition (12 17 Credits per semester) $18,280 Room and Board $7,350 Total $25,630 JASE KRAFT Wessington Springs, SD Track & Field/Cross Country Exercise Science and Entrepreneurial Studies What do you like most about being a studentathlete at USF? I love that it is more than athletic performance. Our coaching staff is constantly reinforcing that we are Christians first and our playing field/course is where we show God s love and brilliant design. What is your favorite memory at USF? Honestly, my favorite memory at USF is getting married. I met a beautiful, God-fearing woman my freshman year at USF and two-and-a-half years later, we got married. What are your athletic and career goals? We are striving for a top-five finish at Nationals as a Cross Country team and I have a personal goal to break four minutes in the mile. I would love to coach a collegiate track and field program, even coming back to USF.
