The Marines from this company recently returned from the Sangin Valley and they are worn out. They saw kinetic activity almost on a daily basis. The Company suffered some casualties, they lost a Marine and a Corpsman in the skirmishes. I believe if they were to receive 2

anything from home, it would be a great morale boost! I can't tell you specifically how many Marines we have, alii can state is that I have approximately around 200. They could use anything from the states such as, toiletries, SNACKS, magazines, etc.. They would love an XBOX 360 but I feel the money could be better spent somewhere else. I would suggest mailing them to the Company 1 st Sergeants, who will know best how to allocate any items you send. Generally, the number for a Marine Corps Infantry Company hovers around 200 personnel. The battalion would greatly appreciate any support, and making liaison with the 1 st Sergeants may generate requests for specific items and quantities. They are listed above as the " POC, are cc' d on this email, and may reach out to you. 4
