Girl Scout Council of the Florida Panhandle Bronze Award Project Check List ACTIVITY DATE COMPLETED Attend Bronze Award Information Session and/or Download Bronze Award Take Action Booklet from GSUSA website. Read the Bronze Award Take Action Booklet Start working on the Journey requirement. You must complete 1 Journey book before starting on the Bronze Award Take Action Project. Work on a timeline for your Bronze Award Take Action Project and the requirements and discuss with your Troop Leader/Advisor. Organize team and find Take Action Project Advisor. Meet with Advisor for final approval of project. Once approved, put your Bronze Award Take Action Project into action. Don t forget to keep a detailed journal/log of your hours. Stay in contact with your Bronze Award Advisor throughout your project. Inform her/him of any changes or problems with your project. Once your project is completed, submit Bronze Award Take Action Project Final Report to the Leader/Advisor. Please include the detailed log/journal of your hours and budget sheet. The log should be neat and legible. Make 1 copy for yourself and turn in the original. When the Bronze Take Action Project is approved, the Leader/ Advisor must sign the Final Report and send a copy to Council. Celebrate your accomplishments! Great Job!

Type or neatly print in black ink, do not use pencil. Your advisor/troop leader is responsible for approving your project and ensuring that each Junior Girl Scout who participates completes section 2 of this form. Leader/Advisor makes copies for your file and for each of your troop members and send the original to the Council Service Center. Once your leader has submitted the Bronze Award Final Report, the parent or leader may purchase the Girl Scout Bronze Award pin. Please allow 4-6 weeks to receive your letter.
