B2B MATCHMAKING WITH THREE MAJOR INDUSTRY ZONES IN CHINA The Danish Cleantech Hub in Shanghai invites you to join an exciting 5 days of official B2B meetings with Chinese enterprises and institutions in tier 1, and 2 cities, in collaboration with the International Clean Technology Promotion Mission in the National Economic and Technology Development Zones, organized by the Green Development League. Cities all over China are embarking on ambitious green transitions, pushed by popular demand and accentuated by central government legislation. This road show is a chance for foreign stakeholders to get an in-depth understanding and interpretation of pollution and energy policies, relevant laws and regulations and to locate Chinese companies who are looking for oversea solutions. The first Hub was established in New York, and today additional Hubs are operating in Shanghai, Gujarat, Dubai and Munich. Using strategic partnerships between public institutions and the private sector is proving to be an efficient way to brand Danish city solutions on export markets. The role of public institutions is to share visions and practical experiences about how to deliver quality solutions to citizens. The role of the private sector is to design the solutions and demonstrate how they work. All companies, organizations and public institutions with a stake in Denmark s urban development are welcome to join the Danish Cleantech Hub on a partner basis. New Ways to Export The Danish Industry Foundation is supporting a program for Danish SMEs with a focus on cleantech solutions in New York and Shanghai. The objective of the New Ways to Export program is to create market access for the SMEs through activities and contacts facilitated by the Danish Cleantech Hub. The program will also contribute to establishing best practices for using public-private partnerships as catalysts for green export promotion. The program was initiated in February 2016 and runs until the end of 2017.
