Chapter Update ASM Buffalo s most recent tour of Buffalo Manufacturing Works on October 13 th sure did not disappoint! With a great turnout, Buffalo Manufacturing Works demonstrated some of their CT scan capability as well as their newest robot technologies. The group was also able to see a demonstration of additive manufacturing via electron beam powder bed fusion and also the amazing 3D printing technology of their student lab. Join us for our next event, Vendor Appreciation Night on November 10 th. We will showcase our generous vendors while hosting our speaker, Dr. Krishna Rajan, Chair of the newly established Department of Materials Design and Innovation at the University of Buffalo. Dr. Rajan will discuss his visions, goals, and plans for the newly created department. This event will be at the Holiday Inn Airport and will include dinner.
