Enterprize Canada Conference Information Package
One of Canada s largest student-run entrepreneurship organizations
Dear Prospective Delegate. Thank you for your interest in the Enterprize Canada Conference. Enterprize started out of the UBC Sauder School of Business as a small scale conference connecting students with entrepreneurs. It has since become the largest business plan competition and entrepreneurship conference in Canada. The spirit of entrepreneurship defines our generation. As a community, we value pursuing one s own passion, developing wellrounded skillsets, and building lasting relationships. At Enterprize, we aim to help you find your passion and give you the support necessary to take the first steps in starting your own business. The goal of Enterprize 2012 is to have each and every one of you leave Enterprize with something tangible: whether that be a new idea, a solution to a problem you are facing, your next business partner, a mentor, or simply a new friend. Enterprize continuously strives to revolutionize the way student conferences are run. In our multifaceted program, we have integrated speaker workshops, interactive activities, case-based learning, one-to-one networking, and social events in order to ensure that you gain maximum value. We hope that this interactive approach to business conferences will challenge you to think outside of the box and work closely with your peers in order to solve entrepreneurial issues. Every year, Enterprize attracts over 250 young entrepreneurs and 100 business professionals from many influential companies. Our two-day, two-night conference is designed to create opportunities for you to build strong, lasting relationships with other students across the country and business professionals in the community. Our student delegates in the past have been some of the brightest and most innovative in the country. Many have gone on to work for prestigious companies or start their own business. We are excited to welcome you to the eleventh year of Enterprize Canada! On behalf of the Enterprize team, I hope to see you at the conference in February! Warmest Regards, Anita Chang Vice-President of Conference Enterprize Canada 2012
Inspire. Grow. Reconnect.
