MARINA Each summer, the Marina invites members to enjoy a fabulous season at its docks from May 15 through October 30 for a great low package price. Eco-Kayak Tours The Nature Center s most popular program is the Eco-Kayak Tour, which is offered each Saturday and Sunday morning. These laid-back trips begin from and take you through mangroves and past bird rookeries leaving you speechless as you can see clearly to the bottom of the sea floor. Available for both beginners and advanced paddlers ages 12 and older. Bicycle Tours These trips offer an opportunity to combine exercise with education about the various plants and foliage found in the Ocean Reef Club community. The Reef has three distinct eco-systems: the mangroves, the lush vegetation and the hardwood hammock. During the scenic, 90-minute ride, participants of all ages will see and learn about each. snorkeling & scuba Cristal Clear Charters (an independent service provider) offers twice-daily snorkel and scuba trips to North America s only living coral reef, departing from The Fishing Village at 9:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. Cristal Clear also offers scuba certification, equipment sales and rentals and champagne sunset cruises and charters aboard its spacious Cristal Clear Cat. However, for guests who are uninitiated in Scuba diving and wish to experience it, a one-day Resort Scuba experience is available. Snorkeling To further explore the deep, snorkeling is available. additional summer fun The perfect stomping ground for the younger set is. In addition to our week-long summer camps, half day and full day programs for children ages 4-10 are also offered. Children are divided into different age groups, overseen by well-trained and qualified counselors to escort them to a variety of activities including fishing, sailing, kayaking, golf, tennis, games, and arts and crafts. The program is also open on Friday and Saturday nights and most holiday evenings. Not only is it an amazing amount of fun, it is a great way for kids to meet other! additional summer fun Marina Fitness Center The Club s Marina Fitness Center is equipped with treadmills, stair machines, bicycles, free weights and equipment. Also available are towels, water, a scale, televisions and shower rooms. The Fitness Center is located adjacent to the Marina and is open to members and their guests 16 years of age and older. There is 24-hour access with Inn room key card or membership card. To access assistance, please contact the Front Desk. Members Fitness Center Located on South Harbor Drive, the Club s Fitness Center is exclusively for use by members and accompanied guests, and is also available to guests who are attending a group fitness class or have a scheduled personal training appointment. The Center includes a strength gym with an extensive array of equipment and free weights, and a cardiovascular gym area with elliptical trainers, treadmills, stair steppers and recumbent and upright bikes.
