Woodforest will be refunded $50.00 to each account because Woodforest is sending statements to wrong PO Box continually. Prior years Franchise Tax has been submitted, and 2015 Franchise Taxes have been filed.

Teacher s Report Given by Charles Wellmann - no new items. Livestock Committee s Report Given by James Coker: - All students showing a livestock animal will be required to sell one ad for the showbook. If an ad is not sold then $25.00 will be taken out of their check. - Entries for the MISD Livestock show are as follows: 51 Pigs 31 Lambs 38 Goats 21 Broilers 36 Rabbits 9 Broilers - The Livestock Committee voted at the last meeting that Paylean would no longer be allowed in Turkeys. It is already illegal to use in Chickens. As of January 1, 2016 the USDA deemed it unsafe, and all Major shows have banned it going forward. MISDLC has decided that it would be best for our students to follow the same guidelines. Old Business Fundraiser: No date has been determined for the Lamb/Goat show. Charles Wellmann will look into dates after major shows are done. We will look at have a raffle along with the silent auction, which will include a golf cart, possibly a customized rifle, and TV. Gerald will talk with the gun maker to confirm. Bank Accounts: We will be adding the following signers to the following Woodforest bank accounts: Business Checking xxxx195 T. Walton Vice President E. New Business Montgomery County Fair The booster club will be providing lunch for all exhibitors, teachers, and parents. It was moved that the booster club would provide lunches and drinks again on April 9th and 10 th. Originally agreed to spend up $100 each day, however it was moved and passed to increase to $150 per day. Drinks and desserts will be donated by the booster club parents. We would like food to be delivered no later than 12 pm each day. E. Webb and K. Lowery will make arrangements for sandwiches on Saturday, April 9 th. Pizza will be ordered to be delivered to the County Fair on Sunday, April 10 th. Ms. Livingston will meet them at the gate or pick up if necessary. Last year the booster club paid $50 to each student that made auction at the Montgomery County Fair. Motion was made to do this again for 2016. Moved and passed unanimously (J. Coker 1 st, T. Walton 2 nd ). Fishing buddies is coming up on April 22 nd. Mr. Wellman should have money for t-shirts through sponsors, and Purina, TSC, ER clinic have donated some items for give away bags. We are hoping that Dick s Sports and Academy will come through on some fishing poles for all the special needs kids. It was motioned by M. Weaver to donate up to $500 if Mr. Wellmann is short on sponsorships. Voted and passed unanimously. (J. Coker 1 st, E. Webb 2 nd ). G. Perry spoke to Mr. Reeves in regards to Custom Rifle for raffle during silent auction and we have a go on that. This will give us a Golf Cart (R. Ritch), Customized Rifle (J. Reeves), and a big screen TV (Booster Club). Raffle tickets will be ordered and hopefully ready to pass out during the banquet. Sponsoring an animal. We would like to further discuss the sponsorship of an animal for the 2017 MISD Livestock show. We will put together a committee to form guidelines. These guidelines should include which animal(s) the booster club will sponsor, where animal would be kept (preferably at the MHS Ag Barn), who will pay for feed, does the booster club receive any money back if animal sells in live auction, the application process, and any essay that would be required. Our next meeting will be on May 16 th which is also the banquet. This year we would like to invite all the buyers that bought MFFA animals in the live auction to our banquet. We are expect around 200+ people and the booster club has been asked to help with the cost of the dinner. M. Weaver moved that the booster club would pay up to $500, if the booster club needs to pay more, then we will be presented with an invoice and vote accordingly. Voted and passed unanimously. (T. Walton 1 st, J. Coker- 2 nd ) Page 3
