They will be able to handle food products safely and hygienically. They will be able to follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to maintain quality and to ensure products meet customer requirements. Mandatory Qualifications; You will have to successfully complete Level 3 Food Safety. You may also be required to take Functional Skills in English, Maths and ICT Food & Drink Advanced Processed Operator Duration: 30-36 Months Advanced Operators will develop an indepth knowledge of food and drink products, health and safety systems, quality systems and Good Manufacturing Processes (GMP). Level 3 is ideal if you're a care worker, and you have some responsibility in your workplace. You sometimes work without supervision. You want to develop or demonstrate your skills, perhaps to become a senior care worker. prior to starting. Clinical Healthcare & 3 The purpose of this qualification is to guide and assess the development of knowledge and skills relating to the health workforce. This qualification confirms competence in a range of clinical healthcare support skills. such as: Safeguarding, Causes and spread of infection, Preparation of blood donations, Assist in the administration of medication. prior to starting. Housekeeping minimum This qualification looks at the knowledge and skills required to support the maintenance of a safe, hygienic and secure working environment and how to work effectively as part of a housekeeping team. such as: Maintaining a safe, hygienic and secure working environment, Cleaning and servicing a range of housekeeping areas and how to work as a team. Food Production & Cooking The aim of this qualification is to develop the skills, knowledge and understanding needed to work in the catering and hospitality industry. The Food Production and Cooking Apprenticeship provides a range of specialist units for cooks and chefs employed in small to medium sized establishments including Care Home Kitchens, Hotels, Pubs, Restaurants and Food Outlets. 5 17

Hospitality Healthcare Hospitality Services, 3 & 4 The aim of this qualification is to develop the skills, knowledge and understanding needed to work in the catering and hospitality industry. The Hospitality Services Apprenticeship is perfect for those working in smaller hospitality establishments, where a broad skill and knowledge base is essential. It is also suitable for those who have a varied or multi-functional role across different departments (front and back of house). Front of House Reception Duration: 12 months The aim of this qualification is to develop the skills, knowledge and understanding needed to work in the hospitality industry. The Level 2 Front of House Reception Apprenticeship is aimed at people working in a pub, bar or hotel and whose tasks are essentially reception-based. Healthcare Support Services Healthcare Support Services are for employees who work within the Healthcare sector. Adult Social Care Apprenticeships Adult Care Worker minimum The Adult Care Worker role is key in the delivery of care and support to individuals in a number of different settings and situations. Employment opportunities range from residential care homes and care-at-home services, to supporting individuals to develop skills that enable them to live their lives with increasing independence and to reach their full potential. prior to starting Adult Social Care Lead Adult Care Worker minimum As a Lead Adult Care Worker you will make a positive difference to someone s life when they are faced with physical, practical, social, emotional or intellectual challenges. You will be expected to exercise judgement and take appropriate action to support individuals to maintain their independence, dignity and control. prior to starting Hospitality Food & Beverage Service Duration: 24-30 months The aim of this qualification is to develop the skills, knowledge and understanding needed to work in the catering and hospitality industry. The Food and Beverage Service Apprenticeship is aimed at people working in a pub, bar or wishing to develop their skills in food and drink service. Hospitality Supervision & Leadership Duration: 12 months The Diploma in Hospitality Supervision and Leadership can help you progress to a more senior role within hospitality. You'll broaden your existing knowledge and gain important leadership and management skills to help you take on more responsibility. The Diploma in Hospitality Supervision and Leadership is for anybody already working in the hospitality sector who wants to take on more responsibility at work. Experience in the hospitality industry would be beneficial although not essential if you are about to take up a new role in this sector. 7 16

Hospitality Adult Social Care Hospitality Health & Social Care & 3 minimum Care Leadership & Management Level: 5 Hospitality Team Leader A hospitality team member can work in a range of establishments, for example bars, restaurants, cafés, conference centres, banqueting venues, hotels or contract caterers. The role is very varied and although hospitality team members tend to specialise in an area, they have to be adaptable and ready to support team members across the business, for example during busy periods. Hospitality Supervisor minimum Hospitality supervisors work across a wide variety of businesses including bars, restaurants, conference centres, hotels or contract caterers. They provide vital support to management teams and are capable of independently supervising hospitality services. They typically work under pressure delivering fantastic customer service and motivating a team is essential to their role. Supervisors may specialise in specific functions or work across a variety of functions which reflect the multi-functional nature of the industry. Level 2 will suit you if you are a care worker or want to get your first care job. If you're already working in care, you probably work mainly under supervision. Customer Services Warehousing Customer Services Warehousing & Logistics Customer Services Practitioner minimum A Customer Service Practitioner delivers high quality products and services to the customers of their organisation. Core responsibilities include one off or routine contacts, dealing with orders or payments, offering advice, guidance and support, meet and greet, sales and aftercare. such as: Knowing your customers, Dealing with customer conflict and challenge, Influencing skills, and Communication Customer Service & 3 minimum This course has been designed to help you develop the Customer Service skills that are used in your daily job role. This can range from working in an office to working in a public house. Covering a variety of themes, this award is aimed at providing customers with a positive impression of yourself, processing customer service information, making customer service personal, and dealing with customers face to face and on the telephone. Supply Chain Warehouse Operative minimum such as: Safe driving and/or operating techniques to standard and as trained, relating to MHE, Safe use of equipment and machinery, Use IT applications and other relevant technology and systems and Relevant regulation and legislation (including international where relevant to role) governing the supply chain industry. Warehousing & Storage & 3 minimum This qualification is for you if you are working within a warehousing environment. The award covers topics including Health and Safety, receiving and dispatching goods, picking stock, maintaining the quality of goods in storage and an array of other work related options 9 13

ICT Business, Leadership & Management ICT Apprenticeships Business, Leadership & Management IT Application Specialist Team Leader Associate Project Manager & 3 minimum The ITQ qualifications are designed to support learners to understand the theory and application of ICT at work. There is a strong focus on explanation and problem solving in the workplace to allow learners to apply ICT skills in a variety of situations. Learners are able to build up credits and progress towards a range of other qualifications at their own pace. such as: Improving Productivity using IT, Understanding the potential of IT, Developing personal and team effectiveness using IT, Using mobile IT devices and Data Management Software. Mandatory Qualifications; You may be required to take Functional Skills in English, Maths and ICT Duration: 12-18 months A Team Leader is a first line management role which has operational / project responsibilities for managing a team to deliver a clearly defined outcome. They provide direction, instructions and guidance to ensure the achievement of set goals. Key responsibilities are likely to include supporting, managing and developing team members, managing projects, planning and monitoring workloads and resources, delivering operational plans, resolving problems and building relationships internally and externally. Optional : Level 3 Diploma in Management or equivalent (OCR) & 3 minimum This course has been designed to help you develop the Customer Service skills that are used in your daily job role. This can range from working in an office to working in a public house. Covering a variety of themes, this award is aimed at providing customers with a positive impression of yourself, processing customer service information, making customer service personal, and dealing with customers face to face and on the telephone. 9 10

Business, Leadership & Management Business, Leadership & Management Operational/Departmental Manager Level: 5 Duration: 24-30 months An Operations/Departmental manager manages teams and/or projects, and achieves operational or departmental goals and objectives as part of the delivery of the strategy of the organisation. They are accountable to a more senior manager or business owner. Key responsibilities may include creating and delivering operational plans, managing projects, leading and managing teams, managing change, finan-cial and resource management, talent management, coaching and mentoring. Optional: Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management or equivalent Business Administrator, 3 & 4 Business administration qualifications are designed for those working as a general administrator looking to advance in their career. Existing and aspiring managers already working, or who wish to work, in a primary care or in a health and social care environment can also take these qualifications in Customer Service order to move into a more senior management role such as GP Practice Manager or hospital department manager. Level 2&3 Management, 4 & 5 Duration: 12 18 Months Management skills are essential in many job roles. These up-to-date Apprenticeships provide learners with the team leading and management skills they need to work effectively in the workplace. Skills in English and Maths.
