Summer has come and gone quickly, school has started once again, and here at the Extension Office we are gearing up for another great year of programming! It is hard to believe that I am beginning my third year with the Hopkins County Extension Office you have each played a role in helping make Madisonville feel like home these past two years, and I am so grateful for that. We have many exciting programs for the public to take part in this year, and I hope you will take full advantage of those. Joining Homemakers The Kentucky Extension Homemakers Association (KEHA) is a volunteer organization that works to improve the quality of life for families and communities through leadership development, volunteer service, and education. Across the state, County Extension Agents for Family & Consumer Science work closely with KEHA members and clubs to provide educational programming and coordinating community activities. If you are interested in gardening, or learning more about horticulture, consider becoming a member of the 2016-2017 Master Gardener Class!
