Why fund cnferences? We see cnferences as: a means t establish and clarify research agendas in specific areas f research a way t prmte cllabratin amng schlars and the develpment and sharing f research expertise

Defining Brader Scial Challenges We define brader scial challenges as largescale prblems r key issues, such as immigratin, pverty, systemic discriminatin, criminal justice, and envirnmental health and sustainability, t name a few.
Making the case In develping yur cnference, we ask that yu cnsider the fllwing: the educatinal issue(s) t be discussed during yur cnvening (e.g., safety and discipline, early literacy r numeracy, access t financial aid), and the brader scial challenge (e.g., access t quality healthcare, mass incarceratin, technlgy infrastructures in rural cmmunities).
