Developmental, psychosocial and other concerns impact your plan of care in addition to the adolescent s medical needs. Young adulthood is often characterized with major transitions including physical and emotional development. This age group often falls in between the cracks of the pediatric office and the family physician. This conference is geared to explore the transition from child to young adult and the medical and psychosocial issues that go along with that evolution. Our topics will focus on common issues in adolescent development including acne, scoliosis, vaping, amenorrhea, anxiety & depression, transgender issues as well as general screening and legal issues. We hope to provide clinical tools that you can utilize in your practice to support the teen and family through the tricks and treats of the adolescent years. Target Audience Target Audience The conference is designed for physicians specializing in pediatrics, family practice, and general practice as well as nurses, nurse practitioners and all allied health professionals who work with teenagers. Accreditation CME Category 1: The designates this live educational activity for a maximum of 7 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s) TM.
