1 Dear friends and neighbors, The report that follows outlines community benefit programs and services offered at Kaleida Health during 2010 by our dedicated physicians, employees and other providers/partners. Many of these services are offered in collaboration with community organizations and philanthropic partners that support our ability to deliver high quality care. The dedication and support of these organizations and individuals are essential to Kaleida Health s ability to serve the healthcare needs of those living in poverty. Despite the downturn in the economy, which produced a greater number of families in need throughout the community, Kaleida Health continued meeting the healthcare needs of this most vulnerable population. On behalf of the 1,800 medical staff members and 10,000 employees at Kaleida Health, I am pleased to share with you this 2010 Community Benefit Report.
