Over $2 mllon Applcants may receve up to $250K at tme of award for development of the EECS and approved actvtes or 50% of the total allocaton f an acceptable EECS has been submtted wth the applcaton and has been approved by DOE. No EECS s requred pror to award, but EECS must be submtted wthn 120 days of the effectve date of the award. If the EECS s not submtted wth the applcaton, t s requred wthn 120 days of the effectve date of the award The balance of the allocaton wll be oblgated upon DOE s approval of the recpent s EECS. The balance of fundng wll be oblgated after one or more progress revews n whch the recpent must demonstrate that t has oblgated funds approprately, compled wth reportng requrements, and created jobs. 15
