Thank you to Bill Schubbe for kindly sharing the basketball photos featured in this winter athletic program. Welcome to the 2013 Seattle Lutheran High School winter athletic season. Each game, match or cheer is a special growing experience in the lives of all students participating. Athletic events provide a social opportunity for the entire student body, parents and friends of Seattle Lutheran High School. Student athletes put in many hours of practice developing skills and building a team. Coaches dedicate many hours of teaching skills and preparing athletes for competition. In each contest, athletes have an opportunity to demonstrate their skills and character while under the pressure that is part of athletic competition. We may provide important support for our athletes by cheering with our cheer squad and being a positive encouraging spectator and/or parent. Applaud athletes when they do a good job and encourage them when they make a mistake. The goal of Saints Athletics is that competition be an important step in the lives of our student athletes and that our Lord, Jesus Christ, will be honored by the action of each student, athlete and spectator.
