Terms and conditions for the Post Advertised in the Newpaper Dated 18-12-2016 Society for Promotion of Shrimp Farming in Punjab intends to establish a Demonstration Farm cum Training Centre for promoting shrimp farming in saline affected water logged areas of Punjab. Only those candidates may apply who are willing to serve at the premises of the Centre at Sri Mukatsar Sahib. 1. Name of the Post : PROJECT MANAGER Nature of the Post : On contract basis Emoluments : Rs. 70,000/- per month Educational Qualifications : M.F.Sc in Aquaculture or Zoology with Fish & Fisheries Specialization. Age limit : 55 years Professional Experience : 1. Minimum ten years experience in management of shrimp farming or fish farming 2. He should possess team management skills to deliver maximum farm productivity. 3. Candidate must possess proof of very strong administrative, leadership and operational skills. He must be result oriented, flexible and hard working. Duties : 1. Project will include establishment and management of Demonstration Farm & Training Centre for shrimp farming; promotion of shrimp farming in salt affected water logged areas of south-western Punjab. 2. Project Manager will be responsible for all project related activities. Must have very good knowledge in shrimp farming and transfer it to shrimp farmers. 3.To organize specially designed training program to shrimp farmers. He must have very good communication with Shrimp/fish farmers during trainings etc.
2. Name of the Post : PROJECT OFFICER (Extension) Nature of the Post : On contract basis Emoluments : Rs. 50,000/- per month Educational Qualifications : B.FSc or B.Sc. (Zoology as main subject) Age limit : 45 years Professional Experience : Minimum five years experience in extension work on a shrimp or fish farm. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in shrimp production, its trade and industry. Duties : 1. Assistance to Project Manager in smooth functioning of Demonstration Farm & Training Centre. 2. He will responsible for all extension related activities And its operations. 3. To develop training modules and material for farmers for shrimp farming. 4. To provide training to farmers in shrimp farming. 5. To help shrimp/fish farmers in increasing their productivity and profitability.
IMPORTANT NOTE 1) a) Closing Date The closing date for the receipt of the applications is 5 th January 2017 and the application(s) not received by the above prescribed closing date(s) shall be summarily rejected, without any notice. b) The Candidate, who is employed in Public or Private sector should submit his application with NOC from the concerned authorities, and failing to do so under any circumstances his/her application will be summarily rejected, without any notice. c) The applications should also contain the duly filled following details i) Self attested copies of date of Birth, B.F.Sc/B.Sc with zoology Bachelor degree, M.F.Sc/M.Sc degree certificates etc. ii) Photograph at the appropriate space(s) in the application form. iii) The applicant should indicate his/her name, name of the post applied, advertisement on top of the envelope, containing his/her application along with all the prescribed enclosures. 2) The following applications shall be liable to be summarily rejected without any notice. i) The application(s) not received by the prescribed closing date. ii) The candidate who is in service Public or private and not attaching proper NOC from the concerned authorities iii) The discrepancies regarding name of the candidate, name of the post applied for, date of birth etc. in the application. iv) Application not accompanied with self attested copies of the education qualification and experience.
GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS 1. Application form and other relevant documents/details can be downloaded from the website www.pfdb.in. The same can also be provided to the candidate on his/her request to the Chairman of the Society for Promotion of Shrimp Farming in Punjab by hand at the address S.C.O 1040-41, Sector 22-B, Chandigarh. 2. No two applications should be sent together. 3. The prescribed essential qualifications are minimum and possessing of same does not entitle candidates to be called for interview. The applicants/candidates who qualify on screening of application as per rules adopted by the Society for Promotion of Shrimp Farming in Punjab for assessing relative merit of candidates on the basis of educational qualifications, experience, research work etc. will only be called for interview. 4. Summoning of applicants/candidates for interview conveys no assurance whatsoever that they will be selected. The posts for which the candidates are applying are purely on Contract basis and under no circumstances will be made permanent. Appointment orders to selected candidate(s) will be issued by Society for Promotion of Shrimp Farming in Punjab. 5. Short listed applicants/candidates must appear for personal interview at such place, as may be fixed by the Society for Promotion of Shrimp Farming in Punjab. The Society do not defray the travelling or other expenses of the applicants/candidates summoned for interview. And no T.A and D.A will be paid to the applicants/candidates coming for the interview. 6. Society for Promotion of Shrimp Farming in Punjab, do not enter into correspondence with the applicants/candidates regarding not calling them for interview or non-selection for the interview/appointment. 7. Canvassing in any form will disqualify the applicant/candidate. 8. The Chairman of the Society for Promotion of Shrimp Farming in Punjab, reserve the right to reject the application without assigning any reason. 9. Any dispute arising in the selection or interview, the decision of the Chairman of the Society for Promotion of Shrimp Farming in Punjab, will be final.
