Relational Continuity of Care in Integrated Maternity and Child Health Clinics Improve Parents Service Experiences [2] (P1) Dependency on health care service staff The growing work load leads to a decrease in the adi being able to given to the families (P2) Growing amount of users Lack of effective way to pass data between services [1] S.M. Proposal To solve the forementioned problems, we propose: (S1) Mobile solution platform for increased connection o Families will be able to stay in contact with the system and are offered a way to monitor the child s health data on their own. This will lessen the child-rearing anxiety and remove the dependency problem. (S2) Health care information network, using multiagent technology o This will fasten the data flow and enhance the accessibility of the health care support system, leading to a decrease in the clinic staff s work burden
Proposal (cont.) Overview of agent-based infrastructure Service layer: provide servicespecific data provide services with the system: Multi services and users are easily connected Users can get integrated and Multi-providers-wide service Coordination Layer: analyze user data and service-specific data connect user to many services User Layer: collect user data provide data to agent layer
Experiment Test were run on one of the proposed functions of the system, the symptom checker feature The test consisted of validating the functionality of the connection between the user device, and the database IDE: Monaca, Visual Studio 2013 Logic: Apache cordova, UI: Onsen UI Device: Samsung Galaxy S3 Mini
Experiment (cont.) User input Symptom Checker Feature Faciliator Overview ( Parent chooses the agent occuring symptoms) (Selected symptoms are passed to the next layer) User agent (The data is displayed in the software) Database agent (A comparison is run to define the decease with matching symptoms) Faciliator agent (Disease data + description are returned to the user layer)
Experiment (cont.) Menu screen Symptom checker screen Selected symptoms A parent chooses the symptoms of the child
Experiment (cont.) Debug display Database Final display The application provides expected symptoms
Experiment (cont.) From the disease-screen, the user is able to Access web pages with more detailed information about the disease Get directions to the nearest clinic In case the disease is serious, the directions are offered imediately, and the application contacts the clinic, providing the staff with the situation data
Conclusion Proposal (S1) Mobile solution platform for increased connection (S2) Health care information network, using multiagent technology Contribution The proposed system will aid the implemention of the child care system and increase the usability on both the family and clinic side, decreasing the work burden, and resolving child-rearing anxiety Experiment Tests were done on one of the functions to prove the accessability
