Graduation Ticket Guidelines 2018 Beginning in 2017 Bullard HS implemented a ticket system for our graduation ceremony. This is a result of growing crowd sizes that have left many people unable to be seated or even allowed inside the building. The graduation committee and Superintendent Schneider have made every effort to ensure orderly seating of the maximum number of attendees as possible in the fairest method possible. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation in this process. The c eremony will take place on Saturday, May 26 @ 10:00 am at Wagstaff Gymnasium on the Tyler Junior College campus. Each graduate will receive 13 tickets. All fines, dues, charges, payments, parking lot painting, etc. must be satisfied before students will receive tickets. Students may get additional tickets from other students. Tickets will be handed out at graduation rehearsal on May 25. BHS/Grad staff are not responsible for lost tickets! Everyone must have a ticket to enter, except children under 3. NO SAVING SEATS. This will be strictly enforced. (In the past, individuals have saved seats that were not occupied at the time of the ceremony. This left many seats available while many people were denied seats.) At graduation there will be 3 lines formed at the door - two for ticket holders, one for non-ticket holders. Tickets holders will be allowed entrance beginning at 8:30 am. Tickets holders must be seated by 9:30 or they may lose their right to a seat. Non-ticket holders will be allowed in beginning @ 9:30 IF THERE IS SEATING AVAILABLE. There is no guarantee a non-ticket holder will be allowed entrance. If a person needs to leave and reenter, they MUST obtain a ticket at the front door before leaving the building. Everyone in attendance must be seated - standing at the rails on the upper floor will not be allowed. This is a TJC policy! No admittance once ceremony begins! TJC prohibits entering with food, drinks, flowers, balloons, silly string, glitter, and air horns. Our desire is to have a dignified ceremony honoring the students. Thank you for your cooperation! Revised 4/24/18
