Our culture At the heart of our people and culture strategy lies our ambition to create a common experience for everyone who works for Grant Thornton, anywhere in the world. Secondment opportunities are an excellent chance for employees to work in a different country and experience a new culture without the pressure of committing to a permanent move. We have had great success over the years with these programmes, read what Adrian has to say... Just two years into my training contract I was given the opportunity to go on secondment to Melbourne, Australia. I never thought after such a short time these opportunities would arise! At the end of my secondment I spent a few weeks travelling around Australia before returning to work in Dublin. We are active sponsors of several sporting events such as our Corporate 5k Team Challenge series which each year supports a different charity. I ve been privileged to be actively involved as a mentor with the Trinity Access Programme and it s great to see how my involvement has had a positive impact for those who are taking part in the programme.
