- VALLEY REGION - This year s Kevin Grant Memorial Tour in the Valley Region was a success, despite Mother Nature s attempts to put a damper on things! There was a great lineup of tours including The Flying Apron Cookery, Avon Valley Floral, Sustainable Blue Fish Farm, Scotian Gold, Eden Valley Poultry, Greenwood Military Aviation Museum, and Michelin Tire. The attending members learned how chickens are processed, how to build a tire from start to finish, how many photos are taken of each apple before they make it to the store (see answer below), and they now have some great salmon tales to share with all of their friends back home! It was good to see many members reconnecting with friends from Camp Rankin and, despite the weather, they enjoyed the tour banquet, featuring three special guests, followed by a fun filled evening of pizza, snacks, and board games!
