It seems they have volunteered for this weekend for several years now and I wish to acknowledge the time and energy they and others give to this program. More impressive is the EFFORT and SUCCESS Jennifer has devoted to the Interact Club at West Brunswick. The growth and success of this program has to be 1 of the outstanding stories in our district. Not satisfied with this she has been working to ensure there is a club available for students at Shallotte Middle School. Our club continues to focus on opportunities to improve the lives of the youth of our area and Jennifer is certainly leading the way. We all look forward to the RYLA participants coming back to our clubs in a few weeks and sharing how this weekend impacted their individual lives. Thanks to all who make this weekend possible. Today's Program: Danny Beeson Volume VII, Issue 26 Friday, January 23, 2015 Welcome: President, Mark McKeithan Invocation & Pledge of Allegiance Breakfast Sgt.-at-Arms: Introduction of Visiting Rotarians & Guests, Fines & Happy Dollars Rotary Moment Announcements Program: 50/50 Raffle 100 Club 4-Way Test Danny Beeson, Regional Vice-President of Matthew 25 Planning, Inc., is a licensed funeral director in North and South Carolina, a licensed life and health insurance agent in North Carolina, a licensed funeral pre-need agent in North and South Carolina, and a licensed Professional Engineer in North Carolina. Upon graduation from North Carolina State University in 1975 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering, Danny joined a Forbes Top 500 company in Winston-Salem, North Carolina and completed a very rewarding 30 year career. He holds multiple patents for innovative processes and received Operations Leadership awards from Executive Management prior to retiring in 2003. Danny realized the need for education of those in their respective fields and taught students from around the world at the North Carolina Industrial Ventilation Conference for 25 years. Subsequently, Danny began his career in the funeral industry in 2004. His desire to serve families with sincerity, integrity, and reliability resulted in Danny being named as one of the National Guardian Life Insurance Company s top 20 funeral pre-need producers in 2007. After fulfilling a specialized Energy Engineering contract with North Carolina State University in 2011-2012, Danny joined Matthew 25 Planning, Inc. as Regional Vice-President and continued his dream of providing unsurpassed service to families by conducting seminars/workshops in conjunction with Legacy Safeguard. Danny has a passion for assisting families and providing guidance and leadership to those wishing to protect their hardearned nest egg. He realizes the importance of planning and preparation in order to protect not only our estate but our lasting legacy as well. Thus the partnership is sought with Elder Law and Estate Planning attorneys. Danny currently travels throughout North Carolina, South Carolina, and Tennessee and, in conjunction with as many attorneys as possible, provides guidance for preservation and protection of clients heritage and legacy. Of the things we think, say or do: 1. Is it the TRUTH? 2. Is it FAIR to all concerned? 3. Will it build GOODWILL andbetter FRIENDSHIPS? 4. Will it be BENEFICIAL to all concerned?
