William Q. Wick Scholarship ($500) This scholarship honors the memory of William Q. Wick, Sea Grant College Program Director from 1973 to 1990. Although a scientist by training, William Q. Wick understood the value of a liberal arts education at this university and in the wider community. This scholarship benefits deserving students working toward undergraduate degrees within the College of Liberal Arts at Oregon State University. Criteria: Students must be enrolled as full-time undergraduate students in the College of Liberal Arts, in good academic standing at the time of application. Must be able to demonstrate leadership abilities and participation in co-curricular activities (high school and college). Preference will be given to Oregon high school graduates and residents. A complete application packet includes: 1. College of Liberal Arts Scholarship Application. 2. A one (1) page essay describing your leadership abilities and experiences. 3. A chart of co-curricular activities you have participated in during high school and college (included example and instructions). 4. ***Two (2) letters of reference and completed reference forms (included) from OSU faculty and community members who can attest to your outstanding academic performance.
