PD 31 SSM 2009, Bangalore, dated 21" June, 2010 Whereas the draft of the rules further to amend the Itamalaka General Services (Directorate of Economics and Statistics) (Recruitment) Rules, 1996 was published as required under subsection (2) of section 3 read with section 8 of the Karnataka State Civil Services Act, 1978 (Karnataka Act 14 of 1990) in tification. PD 31 SSM 2009 dated 05-04-2010 in Part IV of the Karnataka Gazette Extraordinary dated 05-04-2010 inviting objections and suggestions from ail persons likely to be affected thereby within fifteen days from the date of the publication in the official Gazette. And whereas, the said Gazette was made available to public on 05-04-2010. And whereas all the objections and suggestions received in this regard have been considered by the Government. w, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 3 read with section 8 of the Karnataka State Civil Services Act, 1978 (Karnataka Act 14 of 1990), the Government of Karnataka hereby makes the following rules, namely:- 1. Title and commencement :- (1) These rules may be called the Karnataka General Services (Mrectorate of Economics and Statistics) (Recruitment) Rules. 2009. (2) They shall come into force from the date of their publication in the official Gazette. 2. Method of recruitment and minimum qualification etc:4n the Karnataka General Services (Directorate of Economics and Statistics) (Recruitment) Rules 2009, in respect of the categories of posts and scales of pay specified in column (2) of the Schedule, the total number of posts, the method of recruitment and the minimum qualifications. if any shall be as specified in the corresponding entries in columns (3), (4). (5), 161 and (7) thereof. 3. Repeal and savings:- The Karnataka General Services (Directorate of Economics and Statistics) (Recruitment) Rules, 1996 are hereby repealed: (a) (b) Provided that such repeal shall not affect:- the previous operation of the said rules or anything duly done or any action taken there render; or any right, privilege, obligation or liability acquired, accrued or incurred under the said rules.
